Hi all,
Can anyone let me know roughly, how many applications would have been received by CIC as of now under FSWP? Also it would be gr8 if someone gives a picture on the applications received as of now in 2174 job category..
This info would enable me to calculate my possibilities...

We are 7th may applicants, application reached 2:45 pm, received MIKE, NOC 2133, credit card charged on friday, shown on statement today.

Congrats man... So they reached 7th May 2:45PM

Heard so many for 1:45 PM by Mike but this is first at this time I guess.

Good joke Nav Its serious man. Some have confirmed there CC charged for 8th May. Just cross checking whether any DD are charged (or) not....

I have dubmitted my application which is duly received by CIC on 04/07/2014 (according to fedex tracking info). Shall I receive any acknowledgement letter from CIC or the visa office (singapore)? Shall I get any application number? How shall I know that my application is accepted for assessment?

You will be informed via email(PER) from cic if you have provided email id in forms....but it will take around 8 weeks after receiving date of your application at cic..... Presently cic is working on 7,8 may applications...

Hello, I am new comer here, glad to know you people, I have a quick question and hope can get help from you:
I just sumitted the application in June, and recently I found that the form IMM0008 has been updated, now the version is 2014-06. (This update happened after my submission), so just wondering that when an officer come to my case, will it be a concern that the form is not the latest version and be returned? so worrying about it now...
Please if anything you know about it, kindly tell, thanks in advance!

Don't worry. Sit back and relax, CIC process according to the rules applicable to the day, they receive the application.

Hi all, after going through the replies I'm tensed. My current status is as below :
IELTS - overall 7.5 bands - L-8.5, R-8, W-6, S-6.5
NOC eligible - 2133 ( electrical)
WES report - not received. Expected to be delivered on 15th July'14
All documents arranged except WES report.

What do you think are my chance if I send my application before 20th July'14 ?

So finally CIC declared new opening from 1st May -2014.

I have created this thread for helping each other --could be anything-form filling up,POF queries,mental support etc .

Since this year 50 category will be open having a max cap of 1000, so this will bring more opportunity to be a successful applicant for an period.

Thank you very much bro...Its wonderful thread. its very helpful for the people all over the world and people aware of the process and do their immigration without consultants....Consultants are charging much and also they are not giving proper response. One of my friend got such kind of experience. Nowadays educated people were cheated by others. Still so many of them is not aware about the thread and process.

I'm very happy to be the member of this thread and share the knowledge between others......

I have filed my application under the code 2171- thru an immigration consultant.

My application has reached CIC -Nova Scotia on May 14-2014,
By when can i expect any update from CIC regarding my application.
