Hi All,

In my app, i have included BC for me and my wife, but it doesn't have our name's, though our DOB and parent's names are correctly mentioned.

PLS CONFIRM IF MY APP WILL BE REJECTED.

Thanks

Your birth certificate doesn't have your own name ? How come ?

It was issued immediately after our birth and that time our name was not decided by parents & so not mentioned in BC. And we never updated the same with our name later, so that's possible.

Ok. May be it is the norm. I don't have a birth certificate myself, so not aware of that.

Others might clarify if that type of situation is common, and alright not to have the name or not.

You can use your Secondary certificate as well, as proof of birth.

Can anybody plz let me know what are the chances left for the application received on 5 May.
I still haven't heard anything from CIC neither have information regarding my DD.

Also, is it possible if the DD is valid for 6 months, CIC don't consider that application on a priority basis as compared to DD valid for 3 months ? ( just a point come to my mind)

Second, i have applied in 2 categories (2172/2174), is there any chance of rejection due to this ?(a doubt in my mind)

I have already sent my app. Though I have included educations credentials for both of us in which secondary certificate is present and info required is accurate in certificate. But not sure if CIC will find/consider the same on their own.

I had earlier gotten an email from NOC-CP when I requested that they should guide and assist me to choose the noc related to my job description.
When they replied me, it seems they wrote the remark for NOC 1111 because it is a regulated profession in all the canadian provinces, even though the decision lies with the CIC VO.
Below is the reply

hi FavourMercy,

so, did you get any firm response related to your NOC from this email??

I mean to say, have they given any affirmative answer.... or just they have referred to a set of possible NOCs based on your job duties and the decision to chose relevant NOC will depend on you..

thanks for this info.... pretty much useful..

Pls can you share the email address to confirm NOC corresponding with job duties...

:) :)

Did you send two applications for two different NOCs or did you indicate two NOCs as your primary occupation in one application? I am asking because if it's the latter, it could be an issue. I read the reasons for rejection last year in the spreadsheet and somebody was rejected because they wrote two NOCs as their primary occupation in Schedule 3. I don't know on which stage CIO does this check. If they noticed it before your payment was processed, then you would get your documents back which would be better than receiving NER. We got NER a couple years ago because we didn't get 67 points and there was no refund and the docs weren't returned to us either.

Or you can just discard the BC and provide an affidavit that you are using secondary certificate as a BC
