Can anybody plz let me know, how to check he DD is encashed or not as my application was delivered on 5/5/2014 as per the courier records.
I am waiting from the last 2 months but doesn't have any information.

Also, i talked with the Bank authority who has issued the DD but they are unable to help me.

1. The only way to know about your DD is through your bank.
2. If your bank is not able to do it (or) not helping and you want to know ur application status, pls use ECAS online tool with your UCI number, if you have.
3. If you are not having UCI number, the last option is to 'WAIT' for your PER email.
4. Since you are a 5th May applicant, you can also call CIC (or) email them enquiring about your application status.

Please read previous posts for CIC number and email address.

Dont Worry. All the Best !

Hello

could you tell me how much points i'd be getting for employment. i was a bank teller from may 2005 to october 2010 and became a supervisor, banking operations since october 2010 to date. total years worked 9 years 2 months, was a tellers for 5 years 5 months , been a supervisor for 3 years 9 months.

The NOC for Bank Teller is 6551 and it is under Skill Level C; so no point on this. :( :( . You check yourself at the http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/noc/english/noc/2011/html/Matrix.html for better assessment.

And you will get 11 points for 3.5 years of experiences.

Hi,

Need help

Form IM5669 Q.8. Personal History

I was in Dubai on Vacation for four days (2/12/2012 - 5/12/2012). Do I need to mention this ... if yes what periods (From-To) I should put?

Please advise!!!!

A vacation wouldn't really count as a part of your personal history. If for example you were working and took a vacation .. then that comes under being employed by organization XYZ...

You must however mention the Dubai trip on supplmentary Information (your travels.)

UCI - Unique Client Identifier. It is a 8 digit number given by CIC if you have applied already. If you are the first-timer for CIC, you wont be having it.

Regarding CIC number and procedure to call, I think the info is just 10 previous posts away. Please keep reading previous 10 -15 posts, you will get the exact number and email address. :)

Hi Century,

I transferred money from my mother's account to my account and then converted it into FD which is clearly visible in my bank statement. If I show my bank statement, does this prove funds are borrowed?

Thanks

This is why show only the FD and bank certificate only - and don't liquidate it. Get an affidavit from your mother that she has donated you the money - in case VO ask for source.

The key is to show the settlement fund is owned by yourself and not borrowed.

If you can show the trail - how the earlier money's converted into CAD 18000, it will be perfectly OK.

For example, if you had showed CAD12000 from A Bank and CAD6000 Fixed deposit from B bank on 1st July and then on 1st December you showed CAD 18000, then CIO will think it is borrowed.

However, if you can show that CAD12000 and CAD6000 become zero on, say 1st October, and FD of CAD 18000 was made on 1st October, there will be no issue at all.

So try to keep trail.

Hello Everyone,

I have a query. In the Generic Application Form, Question No 6 ask "Where do you intend to live in Canada". Does the answer provided in this field will be binding on the immigrant? I mean, in case I change my mind after submitting the application and would like to go someplace else in Canada, will that be possible?

TIA...
