We´re in this together, guys. I called my bank today and there were no tries to charge my credit card yet and I haven´t received my application back (if It was rejected for other reasons than credit card failing, then It probably would have already returned, since I´ve heard of other May 7th guys that have already received their application back)
So, I am still hopeful. In my opinion, no news is good news, even if CIC has already started charging May 8th applications.

Applicants from previous days, have you seen this happening? Applications that arrived a day later than yours being charged before yours and then yours get charged/encashed?

Indeed, we are in this together. I keep calling my bank to check if my card has been charged but unfortunately not. I am sick worried as there was another applicant whose NOC is the same as mine, received by the same person on the same date that has been charged on the 2nd.

Would you get a notification on your e-mail if your application is on its way back or would you just be surprised that it's back when you receive it?

I SHOWED FD'S OF $20000 WHICH IS ON NAME OF ME AND MY WIFE.
BUT DATE OF ISSUE ON FD IS 13TH JUNE ...IS IT OK??
AS I READ IN PREVIOUS POST...MANY PREFER OLD FUNDS

It will get updated on their website in a few days... If you are really anxious then call up DHL customer care (India number, since I presume you are in India) and ask for airway bill number that would be mentioned against the forwarded agent (this will be a alphanumeric number starting with NETxxxxxx) ... With this number go to Loomis Express webpage and check your status... I did the same

Its about settlement fund.

I had given the balance certificate with my application. I didnt give any statement.

If I do FDR now then I will show it instead of bank statement of six months when CIO wants the statement in future.

Will it be a problem ?
or
Should I have to show the statement from the same account which I have used in application?

Actually, I heard from an consultant that I have to have consistently at least 30% money of the settlement fund in my account.

Whats your opinion guys?

I used dhl and for 4days my parcel was on the same spot. I mailed them stating how disappointed i was . I recieved an email reply saying that dhl is sorry dt they will retify the issue. I tracked my shipment now and its showing that it was delivered on july 3rd by 11:25. The name of the person that recieved it was not written.

North America cannot be generalized as such. If you were to send courier to New York City or any big city DHL would be just fine.

In a courier business connectivity is based on 1) air service to major hubs, and then 2) via road for interior / remote places.

CIO is one of the most remote locations and it takes about half to a full day by truck to get there. This is where UPS is far superior to DHL in terms of greater network within these remote locations. There's more than meets the eye!!

My appln was delayed by 1 day by UPS... Don't think even they have good delivery network in NS canada. I asked for full refund of courier charges and I got it. But till today they dont have explanation why my package was delayed and kept for 24hrs just 450 km away from sydney, NS

I have a question. . My application reached May 30th.... already provided 3 PCC from 3 countries I lived in... just wondering if VO will ask for updated PCC, will he ask again for the 3 PCC or only for the current country I'm living in???

One hour until CIC ends the activity for this week...
If we have no news for the next hour, the best thing to be done is just to relax and enjoy the weekend...

I noticed that most of the applications that are in higher stages past CC/DD were received by Mike... maybe that´s just a coincidence...
There are 2 applications that arrived at the same time as mine did and were signed by M. Krszwda that were already charged...
There´s no way to know how they work on applications...

May 8th guys please move aside for the rest of the May 7th folks!!! LOL!!! ;D We will allow you in between though, once every 5 - 6 candidates!!! 8) (just kidding guys)

May 7th have taken more of their fair share man...give 8th May a chance...loool

Also for Occuption, is this were we write the industry or the title?
I wrote "Advertising" only. Coz my title is too long to fit in the box provided.

DD is Demand Draft.

Those 3 points should suffice in my opinion.

Occupation is different from designation, so you are right.

Bro DD stands for demand draft

And in schedule 3 form write occupation which is required by CIC( 50 occupation list on their WEB) like Mechanical engineer and its NOC,
Secondly you can give details of your each position on last page, If u wanna write more than get additional print of last page and write main points of your job description.
