1) either "till date" or "today" will do

2) majority of them suggests 7+5 = 12 years (till 12th standard)
no need for 11th marksheet

Thanks Vijay.

Really appreciate your prompt reply.

Couple of more things.

1) What should be done for "Till date" for present job? I mean, how to write it in case of currently working?

2) For education, since you are also from India, should we mention 9 years (Class 1-9) for elementary/primary school; 3 years for secondary/high school (10, 11, 12) and rest UG+PG in university/college?
Also, in the "type of certificate/diploma issued", what should be written for 10, 11 and 12th. Addiotnally, I do not have 11 class marsksheet with me, how to show its evidence.

Thanks

I got a scan copy of PCC from Malaysia.. getting original would take a week as its through the post dept. Can i submit a printout (copy) and provide justification for that..? I do not want to wait for another week to make application.

1.Original PCC is required.Your photocopy or printout will be treated as if you did not submit it..meaning your local visa office will still ask you to submit.
The PCC is not compulsory at the application stage...submit your application and move on.You will be requested to submit it during your medicals by your visa office.

2. PM me with your email address for me to give you the format i used.

cheers.

Brother... My file received on 23rd June.. when can i expect to receive UCI number..?

Is it given before DD encashment or after encashment..??

Hi the UCI number for first time applicants is received well after the DD encashment. It is basically received in the PER Email.

OR for returned apps it is included on the form in hand writing.

A strong advice to you, send your app without PCC as it is not required right now. You can submit to VO later. Justification letter is also not required at all, just do not check the box in front of PCC in document checklist and you will be fine.

I did the same.

Need some help with the below concerns
i. We (me and my spouse) own a property (apartment) and have a home loan for this.
Should I mention the values in both Assets and Liabilities or just assets? OR NOTHING..
Do we need to provide some documents to support this? If yes, which documents would serve the purpose?
ii. What else can be part of the assets?

iii. For the 14700 CAD we need to show.. what documents can support this? if a Bank Statement.. it should be for how many months? OR just a letter from bank mentioning the amount is fine??

iv. I'll be entering Canada on 24th July on an OWP.. so I'll be using the communication addresses and the port entry details too.. will that impact my application negatively because I'll apply immediately once I land there?? hope I don't need to provide any proof for the comm. address..

Thanks guys

1. mention the values in both Assets and Liabilities.
2. If you have any other property like cars, jewelry, land, etc include them. Don't forget to include settlement fund as assets.
3. Bank certificate is good enough. You can additionally submit your bank statement for the duration of 3 to 6 months - but it is optional.
4. No, it won't affect your application. In fact, they expect people with Canadian experience more.
