None today as it is holiday in Canada. Got some news of charging earlier.

Yes sir, I think it may be a blunder. As we know 10 - 2 = 8; so you have missed 80% of the asked information.

Interestingly enough, in a hurry of sending my application I sent like 12-13 years of information instead of the asked 10 (since my forms were filled from 3-4 years ago when I had originally applied and I blindly copied and pasted). Giving more than asked worked okay I guess (though fingers crossed until I receive the PER e-mail).

I made a mistke in Background decalration form.

I had to mention last 10 year addressed where I have stayed

but I mentioned only 2 year addresses.


Is it a huge mistake??

I have a question regarding form Additional Family Information(IMM5406).At the top of the form it is said that "Complete All names in English ans in your native language" so will i fill up name column with English and my native language.Means every name column will fill up with 2 language

In personal history, I mentioned only 5 years. They might request later if required I guess, but that couldn't be a sole reason for rejection/return. Don't frighten him. They check these forms in Visa office. Updated form can be sent once he receives AOR.

You can write with black pen/ball point pen after printing in the same box you have written in English. Alternatively, if you need space, add an additional page and do the followings:

I actually modified my wordings before I saw your post. But my take is that this is exactly what is called filling incomplete forms so I am going by that logic. It is just my take, that's it!!

Plus in the section (personal history) you provided less information and there it clearly says that any gap 'might delay' but it does not say so for the 'address' section. I am not sure if the penalty there could be tougher (vis-à-vis for personal history where the penalty is stated clearly and is a mere delay)!

PS - I also stayed clear of the word 'rejection / package return' but I don't want to give unnecessary assurance for what my logic considers incomplete filling of form. I am happy to be corrected when we later learn from CIC that his application went through just fine!!

I am new to this and need some answers. I am an HR professional and working under the capacity of Assistant HR manager for the last 2 years. I worked as HR executive for 2 years before that. My question is, can I apply under the occupation of HR Manager( 0112) of the 50 eligible occupations? My job responsibilities match the listed in the main duties of this occupation!

Any help will be much appreciated.

Congratulation admin. you will get PER very soon. So get ready fot the party.

I think, around 12 applicants of 7th may reported ECAS update.

I will add this. Also I should add sending photocopy of degree/master.

BTW, is only Father's name good enough? Is the following reason for the rejection against the remark colimn of your application correct: CIC dont "accept SSC marksheet as proof of Birth certificate as mine does not have Date of birth on it".

Rejection letter that I received from CIC clearly says 3 requiremtns for BC:
1. Should have your DOB
2. Should show your parents name
3. Should show your full name

My application was rejected as my SSC marksheet didnt had my parents names on it(unline my spouses SSC marksheet had it).
I did send in a explanation letter too saying that I am attaching copy of my passport and my brothers passport copy stating our parents name, but it was nt acceptable by CIC.
They said I will need to provide an affidavit if I dnt hv my BC with me(which i have done with my new application)

Yes, if your roles match with the lead statement as well as substantially with the description of roles, you are eligible to apply. ;D ;D ;D

I would suggest sending the documents again with the cover letter mentioning your UCI, full name, passport number, and DoB. Keep the finger crossed.
