FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

Need a suggestion from you experienced guys..! I have a friend who applied for NOC 2173 under FSW 2014. His application reached CIC on 7th May. He provided his CC (SBI Credit Card) details as his preferred method of payment in his application package.

Now on 17th June, he received 3 SMSs from SBI saying that and “ATM Transaction” is failed on his card due to insufficient funds. He immediately called up SBI customer care and they confirmed that no transaction attempt was made on his card and the SMSs that he received could be fake.

Its been 14 days no and the payment has not been encashed on his card which panics him right now.

The suggestion that I need from you guys is that, given the situation,

1. Should he just assume that his those 3 attempts were made by CIC and his application stands rejected?
2. Following this assumption, should he re-send the complete application package to CIC with updated payment information form with different card details or just the updated form?

I am sorry to say but you should start preparing new App.... because there is no way that anyone can send fake messages like this.

My CC got charged on 30th June.
NOC 2173
Application recieved date 7th May - 1:57 by MIKE
Please make sure to increase the International credit LIMIT.
In my case i provided CIC with SBI Credit card. Luckliy I called customer care on 26th June to know my CC limit.
IT was ZERO rupees, so I increased it and on 30th june got my CC charged(lucky enoughin my case).

Congrats for your CC charge ..... Your have just crossed the major hurdle

Folks tell me there will be any delay in DD Deductions when compared to CC. Seems to be more CC deductions than DD.........

Hi, generally it takes 1~2 weeks more to clear DD as compare to CC. In case of CC, CIC input the card details and then the money is deducted from the Credit card but in case of DD, it has to be submitted to local Canadian bank and then will be cleared by the bank.
Don't worry, still it is safer than CC.

It is NOT that ECA covering letter that they want, but copy of your degree (and possibly mark sheets copy, if possible). Along with original ECA report it is mandatory to send copy of degrees, else expect your application package back. Hopefully you guys submitted degree copies!!

I have one doubt, in my offer letter from current company which I submitted, the joining date is like 6-Aug but I had joined them a week earlier 30-Jul. I was not re-issued with new offer letter for earlier date.

Will this be any problem while making decision.

I have submitted all my reference letter on company letter head which states 30-Jul. Also, I have submitted employment certificate which states that I joined on 30-jul.

Please, clarify this, if this difference Offer letter and other documents will cause any in-consistence issue.

Hi, this will not be an issue as it could mean that there was a short gap between when you accepted the offer and when you resumed. It can be explained when you get to VO stage, good luck

Hi

Need one suggestion. My Application reached CIC on 28th May.
So, when should I start applying for PCCs. I need to get it from New Delhi, India and Madrid, Spain.

I think if I apply today, I will get them in 2-4 weeks. But, the way CIC is stuck on 7th May applications, my turn may come very late.
And I read somewhere, CIC would expect PCCs not older than 3 months.

So, shall I wait for another 2-3 weeks and then start ?? Or, I shud start now. Clearly, I donot want to apply again for Spain.

Please correct me if any of my assumptions are wrong. Thanks.
