You are right that is should not be an issue as it will still be valid for 5 months even if my application reaches them around, or even after 6-July.

The only concern is the line that they have written that "it must be issued no more than 30 days before you send your application to the CIO."

Any thoughts on this ?

Will be better to have a newly dated DD....COntact ur Bank, I guess they will issue a newer DD with a minimal bank service fee....

No need to take risk since u have enough time to do so....

Dear,

For POF, max of the applicants are trying to submit a Bank certificate of current dated (possibly with CAD converted) and A bank statement which shows upto 6 months prev balance and transactions...

Hope this will clear ur confusion....

it's advised to write N/A after printing out your forms.

Thanks FlyHigh for your quick reply!!! My question was really based on the number mentions on the CIC website and the number of friends who have loged their entry in this forums file. There is a huge variance in the number even if you just include the number of applications for which payment has been accepted. Can you explain this?

Also any clue about the timeline???

Yes ur right.The numbers on the CIC website is not a true representation of the applications that's been processed as at present.The numbers are updated fortnightly which explains the variance.One can only hope and pray!....As they say "without hope,then all is gone".

Please tell me atleast 3 months prior means. . No early than 3 months i.e. if course start date is 1-Jan-15 than he can apply only after 1-Oct-14 ??

OR

he can apply before 1-Oct-14 ??? in Aug or Sept ??


And one Ques from My side .. NDVO (New delhi visa office) is actually fast ??
I can see in spread sheet that those who received medical request are all from Ottawa VO.

Since Generic form is bar coded....Its not recommended to write anything on Pen...

So just leave it blank...No need to write with pen additionally...

Please I need Help from Experts ..

I want to how they calculate or measure the part time work in equivalent to the full time .. on the CIC website it clearly states : " Your work experience must be: at least one year (1560 hours), full-time or an equal amount in part-time... (at least 30 hours per week, or an equal amount of part-time) I'm confused about what that means,there are some people who claims that the CIC consider any part time work as Half the amount regardless of number of hours worked ? (for example : 2 years are equal to one year of full time work ?? " while others says that they calculate the number of worked part time hours and see what this is equivalent to ..

In my situation,my work experiece was for 3 years and 9 months of part time work 22 hours per week .. will they consider it as 2 years of full time work (based on number of hours calculations ) or not ( based on the Half rule ) ??

Please If you know someone who applied with the same situation I would appreciate his opinion ..

Of course ur part time work time will not be equal to full time...

Calculate the whole working hours of this part time hours and equivalent it to the full time periods....

That is the actual calculation....

General queries about IMM0008ENU_2D form

1. In pdf form there are some conditions which are hiding the textbox and date selection textbox. After taking print out of such pdf form, can I write Not Applicable or NA by using black pen?
2. Is it compulsory to have passport or national identity documents for kids under 5 age?
