Hello, I am a new user here and had a question regarding the FSW 2014 application.

My application was received and signed for by CIO on May 31, 2014. I have not received any updates or replies from the CIO so far. I wrote my IELTS on July 21, 2012 which is valid till July 21, 2014. Will my IELTS score be valid since the application was filed before its expiry? Or is the validity of IELTS counted from the day my case officer picks up my application? Please advise on whether I should re-take the exam ...thanks in advance!

CIO will inform you when you will get PER e-mail.

Also request you to update/enlisted in the spreadsheet.

Hii everyone . .

I have some questions from one of my friends:

He applied for FSW in May 2014 and got PER in June. Also in Jan 2014 he applied in 5 universities, in canada, for master course. Now he got admission letters form 2 universities for Jan15. So the questions are:

1) Can he apply for study visa after applying for FSW ???

2) How early he can apply for study visa for Jan15 course.
(As per my knowledge we can apply for study visa three months prior to start date of course)

3) What if he gets study permit & moves to canada ?? Does he has to chance his visa Office??

Please help in this regard.

2. Atleast Three month prior.

3. He can apply to change his Visa office....But it will be better to remain the same visa office (if his Visa office is faster like NDVO or other.)....

Otherwise his file may be lacked behind on the queue...

Offcourse not ...They have observed the mistake and revised the form accordingly...

I would suggest, you try with new credit card without deactivating the old one. You can send it at CIO, NS, with the payment form and cover letter.

Some more questions before I send off my package:

Generic Application Form for Canada - IMM0008ENU_2D: This form was filled on computer. When I select current country of residence as "India", the "Last Entry to Canada" fields get greyed out. I have been to Canada in 2002-2003 to visit my sister. Do I keep these "Last Entry To Canada" fileds empty? Or print form and then fill it out?

Schedule A Background Declaration - IMM5669E: It says "Mothers Name at Birth". This means I have to enter my mother's last name before marriage and first name with my grandfathers name instead of fathers name? All other places where mentioned, it is post-marriage name.

I am looking for confirmation that I don't need below forms. And that I can leave these out completely from the package. Also, I dont need to check mark these forms in the checklist document.
Additional Dependents/Declaration - IMM 0008DEP: I am principal application + wife + 1 child of 2 year age. Both will accompany me.

Separation Declaration for Minors Traveling to Canada - IMM 5604: I am married with 1 child. Wife and child will be accompanying me.

Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union - IMM 5409: I am married to my wife. Will be submitting marriage certificate as request but do I need this form?

Use of a Representative - IMM 5476: Not using any agents.

Age: 12pts
IELTS: 17pts
Exp: 11pts
Education: ECA equivalence 4 years BE Computer Engineering( will it be 21 or 22 points?)
Blood relation: Yes

Will my case be approved or not. i'm worried .

If I come credit card option for fee payment but forgot to sign, my package was received there on 13th June, do I have time to send the revised fee payment form with cover letter or CIC checks the documents for completeness just after receipt.

Hi Seniors,

I have a query related to National Identity Document (NID), I need to fill it in the dependent section for my wife in the generic form.

My wife do not have passport currently (She will apply very soon ), the documents she has presently are PAN card, VoterID and Aadhar Card.

1) Pan card- Her pan card has her previous name (before marriage).
2) Voter- Id- Government has jeopardize her voter-id card, as the name printed on her voter id has major spelling mistakes.
3) Aadhar card- This is in good shape, but does not have any expiry date on it.

So, can Aadhar card can be used as a NID ??
