there are like 64 applicants in spreadsheet for 8th may.........ya Allah plz give atleast that much speed to cio that they start processing these 8th may poor souls (including me)....plz plz plz let us hear good news.......this wait is getting into revenge feelings!

Very true... 7th app is taking way too long to complete... CIC, accept all 7th and move on to 8th and so on.... 8) 8)

Today is the 30th day since my WES Evaluation has been completed and sent by Standard Mail but still I haven't got my WES Report!!!!
What has happened to India post?????????????

You have to have select express courier service. And standard mail from Canadian government not from Indian post. So no need to blame indian post. Standard mail takes 15 days minimum. if anything earlier you get then you should be lucky.

Well dude....standard mail is the most slowest mail in the world that is sent my wes.....it took 37 days for me to arrive...with the quotas filling fast, you can order a duplicate report and take the courier option which took only 6 days for me including the ordering day...

need opinion from those who have applied for noc 2132 (mechanical engineer ) category.Can any of you tell me if my duties are relevant for this noc.i am a mechanical engineer and working as inspection engineer in a company.i am posting both type of duties that are given as a sample and my actual duties that i perform .i know it will take your few precious minutes and i am thankful for that.

Mechanical engineers perform some or all of the following duties:
• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
• Design power plants, machines, components, tools, fixtures and equipment
• Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical systems at construction sites or in industrial facilities
• Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs and provide guidance to industrial maintenance crews
• Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.

My duties are:
• Preparation of bids/proposals, tenders, contract documents and their addition on PBT (Piping & backlog tool) on regular basis for industrial activities.
• Evaluation of projects and inspection plans, monitoring inspectors, supervisors and site staff engineers for QA/QC maintenance issues.
• Preparation of project instructions for site staff and supervisors, collection of data and technical report writing for clients as per project specifications.
• Scheduling and monitoring of mechanical equipment inspection at different sites and resolving maintenance problems.
• Coordination with international offices for procurement & expediting issues, including shop fabrication inspections.
• Analysing project cost and feasibility reports for optimization of maintenance issues.
• Ensuring implementation of quality control procedure and recruiting technical staff according to job requirements.

Congrats farhaantariq i am also on the same boat. Feeling very nervous. 51 days completed for 8th MAy applicants.... .

Pray God strongly boss from next week it should start for sure as from tomorrow ramzan starts..........

Nope!!!.. CIC staff parties hard on the money that is nt be used newhr ... ;D ;D ;D ... just kidding ... I think you get that back if NER happens in the very first couple of processing steps ... Perhaps somebody more experienced will hv more to say ...
