Worry will not help either way! So why not relax and go with the flow? At least your CC is charged, and you can hardly do anything to change what is instored for your case in the next 5 to 10 days!!!! Good luck!!!

This is for those who are still working on their applications and have not sent it yet. Those who have sent, do NOT worry!!!!! Refer page 2170 to understand what happened with a member 'sarkca' while using a CC. Point is DDs are 100% safe when made for 6 months validity.

I will use his example to caution others from using CC as a mode of payment (since DD is risk free when made for 6 months validity). I am in NO way saying CCs are always unsafe, but credit card users from India and some other developing countries have a higher risk of RBI / Bank regulation issues coming in their way, at times.

That's very unfortunate bro. Seniors here will let you know what to do..
To be safe, if you can arrange another original IELTS and ECA, I advise that you send a complete new application. Because CIC will try authorizing the CC 3 times, if failed, they will return the application. You can send an updated payment form with new CC details, but I doubt that CIC can attach it with your old application (you know how many applications they have in the queue). If I were in your position, I will try hard to get another IELTS and ECA and send a complete new application.

I advice everyone who's creditcard is not charged yet, PLEASE KEEP THAT CREDITCARD IN A SECURED PLACE at home or somewhere till you get charged. Carry another credit cards for your daily use.

I have been visiting this page intermittently because of heavy workload in office. I just noticed that the cap numbers have been updated. The FSW 2014 spreadsheet says that the latest cap figures were updated on June 24. Does anyone know the cap figures are as of when? Are the figures still as of May 1st, the date on which FSW opened for this year?

Pls how do I contact cic. I submitted my application 12th of may but the credit card I used has been stolen n cancelled. Can I call them to give them another card details? Am so confused.
Pls what can i do now?

Or maybe call the bank and tell them you already found the Creadit Card.
Just cross your fingers that the crook will not use it. :-X

it is my first time to ask here
i sent my file and recieved in 4 june , i have 3 questiones:
1. my last name is different than my daughter last name in 32 letters.. can this make a problem?
2. my ielts will expired in 4 augst and as i can see that they will open my file in sept. so are they will calculate my ielts from the date of file recieved or the date of file open??
3. in my experience certificate which i sent it , they didnot add the salary .. is it a problem ??
