To ~ Until your Visa expiry date

question in filling up the generic application form:

I am currently residing in Singapore, working and holding a work pass. In the field under "current country of residence", I indicated in the period "from & to" as follows:

from - the date I landed in Singapore
to - expiry date of the pass

Please advise if this is correct or shall I leave the "to" portion blank and after validating and printing will write "present" instead?

Can LIC policies be shown as funds. If yes, will xerox of policy work or I have to get surrender value from LIC ?
Please help.

Attn: To all CC payers.. (esp. from India)

You need to check the current Credit Limit for International Transactions on your CC.. it is set 'lower' limit by default due to RBI regulations.
Call your CC call center and check.. if it is Less than the Amount in Fee payment Form (CAD$ 550/1100/1250/1300 etc) then request to raise it to higher than your Fee amount (converted in INR/ local currency)

Also, HDFC Bank CC. if you're charged before 29 June, HDFC will refund 1 % of Currency Mark Up Fee in next billing cycle (instead of 3.5% .. taking 2.5%).. soooo enjoy !! :-* . {Pls contribute 1 % savings to 'Maple Leaf daru party' fund :P :P }

Hi All :) ,

I am new to this forum and my file was received by CIO on 24 June.

Was just going through thread and saw few CC transactions did't go through.

To Admin- can we have one more column added to the spreadsheet - CC Bank(may be it will help us to identify what all banks don't allow CIO transactions).

I am holding AXIS Bank international CC(confirmed with axis). Please suggest How can I confirm with bank that my payment will go through. Is there anybody else? who hold Axis's CC and payment went through.

I really want to avoid that embarrassing situation i.e. my case was rejected bcoz of CC payment did't go through,

Please suggest,
Mickys

Re: FSW 2014 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.e

If you can liquidate your LIC, then you can show it as Settlement Funds.
but if you have some locking period, then you cannot.
You should get letter from LIC, that how much amount will you get, if you surrender your Policy today?
That can be used as Settlement Funds.

Hi guys
Is there any advantage of having the UCI number from last year. will it speed up the process, any idea?

The only advantage of UCI number from last year is that you can check your status before getting PER.
it does not effect your present file drastically.

What option do i need to choose while ordering duplicate WES report?

The primary purpose of this addition report is (choose one)

Note:
The FSWP duplicate report will be sent to you to submit to CIC. WES will automatically make your report electronically viewable by CIC.

Would you like additional printed reports sent to other recipient(s)? Please click below:

Nope it will not speed up the process.

The only advantage some people get from old UCI is - you can check the status of your application if in case it came up in progress
