i noticed on spreadsheets...person who is on top of the list....1 may 2014 he got his file recieved.....and now in june he got medical.......isnt it too fast.......

or may be VO counters are not that busy these days due to less no. of applications.

Yes , it is fast for him (he belongs to i think CPC ottawa)....but for NDVO ...according to my rough idea , it takes 24-45 days to transfer file to VO after PER email.

It depends on the visa office handling your application.
Please the link below for what CIC specified...

Cheers.

Kollins , if you see there are three columns given for time frame BEFORE February 27, 2008 , February 27, 2008 - June 25, 2010 and last one is after June 26, 2010 , and this does not reflect picture for 2014 however first 3 columns represents gap of 2 years almost.

but for NDVO , speed is in between 6-9 months ....till visa grant.

yea lucky guy.......moreover, i feel mostly people are busy in completing their files....Many still busy in clearing their IELTS.......this is the reason people getting PER early.......

Infact, WES also taking atleast 25 days to evaluate degrees....in mine case I got it evaluate within 1 week...

Man, this immigration thing is turning out to be more tedious than I thought it would be.

Regarding my employer giving me letter stating - designation / salary / joining date / etc. (Job duties is going to be another letter on plain paper with my Manager's sign and details.)

I have told HR that I want letter for personal visit (I cannot tell immigration). And now, they say they compulsorily have to enter my leave dates for issuing this letter. I finally convinced them to enter Month instead of exact dates. So now, I am telling them to put October 2014 in the letter.

The line is expected to be something like: "..... His leave is approved for the month of October 2014 for personal visit to Canada."

Is this going to be OK? Any other suggestions?

any input on this? Anyways, I cannot change the date thing on the letter. But just want to get an idea of what impact the "leave approved for month of October" on employer reference letter will have.

The information given is from data.
The time line shown is just average timing....it may be faster.
See the quote..
"The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2013. Processing times are subject to change and are based on a complete application package"
Cheers.
