One of my friend has sent travel history , but for last 6 years only and he is travelling abroad for last 9 years...his file reached 28th may...pls suggest what to do...can he send travel form again mentioning his passport number and other details....or it is fine and can be sent later to visa office...

Hi, you would get 21 points provided you have done your educational credential evaluation and have received your ECA report stating your degree is equivalent to a Canadian bachelor's degree of 4 years. Best of luck.

As per CIO auto generated response (an excerpt) :

"If you have applied within the last eight to ten weeks, we will not be responding to your enquiry- please ensure adequate time has passed before making an enquiry. "

Anyone here who had their CC charged already? My application was received on May 12, 2014 but it's been a month and I've not had any charges yet. Can we already send an email follow up on CIC? What should be the average waiting time?? Thanks!

Hi, mine took 3 days for the DD to be reported as debited by my local bank. CIC charged it on May 27 (as listed in PER) and only on May 30 the bank could see the transaction.

Yes it is frustrating. DD is safer but the wait is more anxious!

I checked with my bank and as of Tuesday, my DD still shows as outstanding. I am going on holiday for 2 weeks and will not be able to inquire at the bank about my DD during that time, so I probably will have to wait for (hopefully) PER to know anything about my application. It will weigh on my mind all holiday.

Oh well...

The letter of employment of your relative is a proof that he/she physically resides in Canada . The letter of employment maybe address to whom it may concern and state that your relative is employed from ____ until date. Etc etc. there is no std format. Just a proof that relative is there. Ensure that contacts are available

I didn't opt for international courier at the time I booked for WES fsw package... So WES sent my report in regular post (Airmail)... It took 6-7 working days after the dispatch from Canada to reach me (Eventhough the representative said it takes 30-40 days to reach in India)... WES sent my report twice from Canada to India becoz of the errors they made in the evaluation... All the 2 times it never crossed more than 7 working days...

Im 8th may applicant..My DD is only three months valid..tht means the validity expires on 24.07.2014..really worried if the processing extends beyond tht period..in sha allah..hope everythg will b fine..

Wow there would be something really wrong if we reach 24th July and they still haven't shifted May 8th applications. ..I'm pretty sure you'll be fine...

I believe that their workload is huge now, since there are people from the previous days that didn´t even have the CC/DD charged. So, they have a lot from May 1st - May 6th... plus the huge amount from May 7th...

Patience is the word of the moment. Let´s wait and hope for the best.

Hi Admin,

Request you to generate NOC wise trends of how many applications reach on different dates in spreadsheet.

This will give, those who are yet to send application, an insight into whether they will fall under cap.
