My application is still in transit - no updates on dhl since Thursday June 12th. DHL is still trying to figure out. ANyone faced the same issue? don't know if I make it through the cap - NOC 2171

yes, I am waiting for DHL to update me. Mine is not updated since 13th June, when it departed Toronto. Originally dispatched from Dubai on June 11th. They are using a third party for deliveries in Sydney, and they are waiting for their update.

I have seen few of them got email from CIC for NOC-2174. My application received on 07-May-2014, still i haven't received any response.
My DD is not yet charged.
Please let me know, how did CIC respond you for the succuessfull application for the NOC-2174?

Please let me know, whether they replied through email(Inbox or Spam) or phone?

I WILL ADVICE YOU NOT TO CREATE UNNECESSARY TENSION TO INNOCENT APPLICANTS.
There are standard rules for scenarios like this which give cut off dates.In you advice,you do not want anybody in the whole wide world to send their application from 16th June,2014 to end of June simply because the form is not printable.
If you remember the scenario of last September...you will know well that it wasn't like this.
Legally,how will you release a document patented for July,2014 in June,2014.
To make matters worse,you lock the same document from been printed out.
Do you even notice that there are two versions on different links on CIC website?

Yes i noticed there are two versions of different links. Both are dated as 07-2014. And by the way both are printable. Hope it helps you..

Wanted to get some clarification on the SETTLEMENT FUNDS requirement. Need this info for a friend

Can value of your house be provided as part of the funds? What solid assets , if any can be provided?

I believe this must have been discussed before but difficult to get through the forum and find it

Hi Sidhu

No you cannot provide value of any kind of property as evidence of settlement funds. You need to have liquid instrument such as cash in bank account or fixed term deposit.

How much time CIC actually takes to review one file?
In other words, once they picked the application from waiting queue, how many days CIC needs to review that the application is compete?
On average CIC takes 2 months to issue PER, and this includes waiting time in queue as well..
Any guess plz!!

I m lucky in this case. shipped app on 9th June, DHL shows status up to 12th June and then no update. but on 16th June my app got delivered and same day my status updated on DHL. but during this i have contacted DHL India and Canada. Both time I get reply that they will call about status but got no call. at last my app reached CIC on 16th June.May be in your case it will be deliverer in one or two days.

Hi Sidhu, Jaxon911 is very correct. The value of the house/property can serve as asset but your settlement funds must be unencumbered cash. Please try to obtain a bank document, either statement or certificate to this effect quickly and submit your application. All the best

I am in daily contact with DHL here in Dubai. I also called DHL Canada last night. I am promised a clear update by tomorrow morning. I hope they did not lose it.

My application reached CIC on May 29th; it may not be considered until July Mid/End. In that scenario am I supposed to send updated additional family form; the one which is being updated for July 2014?
