i wanted to apply in 2172 i.e Database analysts and data administrators
do my job responsibilities should match both database analysts and DBA ?to be eligible for this NOC ?

As far as I know, if your duties and responsibilities fit either Database analysts or data administrators, you are eligible. Check http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/QuickSearch.aspx?val65=2172 it has different list of roles and responsibilities.

Many of the applicants are in a same boat brother....


None of the applicant reported for PER yet on FSW14.....

A friend of mine from 2011 used the job description as stated in his company database and attached all employment documents to support his case.
He is now in Canada.
That is why I did the same but now I am so worried.
I got letter from company stating hrs worked and roles but no JD.I got JD from database and explained why via cover letter.
I just pray I scale through.
All other documents are intact.

Dear brother ,

FDs contain mainly the later maturity date but we can withdraw the money before my LAwyer asked to get it in written from Bank that I can withdraw that money before its maturity date that will make sure that these funds are always available while bank account money is always used as the required funds

But I see lot of updates in the spreadsheet which say for eg. application sent date 6/13/2014 and application received date 6/16/2014....also signed by xyz is also updated..what is that?...I'm completely unaware what is the process for that...it may be very obvious also..I don't know...I'm posting this at the risk of sounding foolish or ignorant.. :-X ???

Does it mean applications received, like mine on May 30 which will probably take until July to be reviewed might get rejection? Oh My!!!!
Or Maybe because you had other mistake as you have said so might as well mentioning to use a new form?? ???

@mdec1980: For my case; I made two mistake .
1: Did not write my visa office name.
2: Did not fill up updated "Additional family form" (updated one)

My take out was; i made mistke by not writing concern Visa office name. For 2nd one I have serious doubt as my form reaches on July 1st week and they updated the form on sep 13. So 2nd point was not valid though they have 1 valid mistake.

For other users my sincere advice, as long you have time in hand, why made any known mistake. he should fill up the updated form. In your case, you are way through brother (what i belief)

1. But it is at the middle of the program. What will happen if applications are in transit. For example, I send a document on 29th July. On 1st August a form was changed. My file reached on 5th August.

2. Also on legal point of view, you are using post dated form. You signed with today's date (June) but you form is July.

3. The form is also unprintable. It is no use.

Its the Courier company who showed the info on their tracking site "RECEIVED BY : XXXX"

This what is the name has shown on their....

U can also check ur tracking of the courier (DHL/FEDEX etc)....

Hi, my application was also received on 12th May with DD enclosed. No one can really tell you what's going on and even CIC does not provide updated information. They are busy battling with the swarm of applications that are flying in to their office. From posts on this forum, they are still on May 5th to May 7th applications so you have a while yet to hold on.
Just rest easy and watch your email for your PER. Until then, keep hope alive

Thank you Pipis! I'm just paranoid really. Last year, we didn't make it on the quota and got the notification 5 months after my submission. I hope we get some luck this time around

I am asking because my bank is going to block my CC any moment ans they have issued new CC as per Government guidelines.

Other members please respond ASAP. Specially whose payment mode is CC, is ur CC charged yet. Its long time we should have got our CC charged.

Yes dear if you take last 3 days they are charging one person per day for 2173 from our forum. The rush of charging cc's became slow....

wont ur CVV change when they issue you a new CC
