I am also a 16th May applicant, guess we will have to wait till mid of August to have any update on our application, fingers crossed.

July first week or second week seems most suitable for 15-18 may applicants...just a thought as per latest trends.....

Hello,
I have 12 years of experience. 10 in the same company. 8 in the same role/designation.
My company agreed to give letter on company letterhead stating:

1. Annual Salary (total annual salary as of today)
2. Date of Joining (10 years back date)
3. Designation (my current designation)
4. Full time work (but not mentioning 40 hours/week)

Is there anything else that should be mentioned?
I know roles/duty is missing but they are not willing to mention job duties and responsibilities on the letter.

So my questions are:
1. What do I do about the job duties and responsibilities? I need to know all the options.
2. Is there any other information missing?

Job duties and responsibilities is the most important for ur application.....

if ur employer is not providing on letterhead please check :

"Reference letters in the required format are necessary, please try your best to get them. If after all efforts you are unable to obtain a work reference letter, then you should provide a solemn declaration / affidavit explaining in detail why are you unable to do so. The officers at the VO are aware of the fact that different employers have different policies towards issuing such adhoc letters and may not cooperate in issuing such a letter. Please do attach all your employment records with the declaration. I was unable to obtain a work reference letter from one of my employers and did the same. However please bear in mind that the final decision rests with the visa officer handling your case."

Accumulated Suggestion :

"1) Please descibe the reference letter with your NOC on a white A4 paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor.
2) Take a copy of photo I'd (company tag photo id) of your supervisor of your company...get it signed by him on it and do attestation
3) Get a service letter from your employee stating you have worked from so and so time with your designation
4) provide an affidavit supporting why you are not able to provide the reference letter in company letter head and attach the service letter provided along with this
5) Submit appointment letter (if exists)
6) Submit Payslip (if exists)
7) Business card of applicant (if exists)

You should be fine looking at the current trend... I too had a lot of trouble trying to retrieve my Loomis reference number... My application was received by David on 13th June but my DHL tracker still shows "Forwarded for Delivery"

I have a question regarding the supplementary information- your travels form. I am an Indian national born in 1986. Currently a resident of UAE since 2008. I also was a resident of Saudi Arabia from 1989 to 2009. I have lived in India from 2004 to 2008 during which i had to visit Saudi Arabia yearly once for the purpose of renewing my residence visa. And also visited UAE for brief periods as a tourist once a year in 2005 and 2006.

In 2008-2009 i held residence visa for both Saudi Arabia & UAE

Now my question is do I list my travels to Saudi for visa renewals in the form and also the UAE visits in 2005 & 2006 as mentioned?

According to my understanding the only travel you are not required to mention are the ones between your country of residence and country of citizenship. For example - I am an Indian Citizen and a UAE Resident. I travel back and forth between UAE and India at-least twice a year and I am not required to show this.

But a few years back I was on visitors VISA in the UAE and I have mentioned every single entry and exit, to and from the country.

No I don't think it will be so late. The initial flow of applications is heavy , I presume it will fade out .

1.Get your direct manager to do an affidavit for you listing your duties.
You can get a senior colleague of yours to do it.
make sure you yourself get an affidavit to explain the reason why its missing on the letter and also list them out.
Make sure you include all supporting documents like employment letter,contract letter,payslips and so on.

2.You are fine but you can include the hours worked in your affidavit too.
