I need expert advice...and might need your help for decision making....

Suppose ..i have my case in progress and meanwhile i go to some other country , what are the possible problems i have to face in order to complete my rest of immigration formalities ...?

Just to submit the passport to New Delhi Visa office.....Otherwise u will not have to face other issues....

For this case some NDVO earlier applicants supplied his PP by his friend/relative which is not suggested though....In this case u may inform/request ur VO to give permission to submit ur PP to the closest VO....:)

Turns out that sending passports via post/courier to and from INDIA is illegal.

This leaves me in a pickle :(

I had initially chosen LVO but going by the horror stories against it i decided to put NDVO instead in my application. I haven't filed my application yet. If I do file my app with NDVO I will have to send the PP (if all goes well) via a relative's hand with an authorization letter because I do NOT want to risk that chance of my PP going missing in transit because I am resident of the UAE and this will create more issues than it will resolve.

So its basically choosing one of the 2 devils. LVO (with their poor response rate) or NDVO (with the stamping bottleneck).

If there is anyone in the forum who can share any views based on their past experiences, please do so.

Hi Seniors,
I have few queries regarding PCC.
1. When to send PCC and to whom.
2. From where we need to get the PCC? I have been living in Pune, India since last 7 yrs but my permanent address is Jaipur and from Jaipur itself my Passport is issued. So I need to get PCC from Pune (done education and doing job since last 7 yrs) or Jaipur(where I am not living but my hometown)

Lost all hope since last week. 6th May applicant, NOC 2281. No CC charge, while others before me already have PER. Not even worried/anxious anymore, only disappointed.
I guess it's time to wait for my application to get back to me and re-apply.
No idea why it would be returned, sent a lot of evidence... will know in 3 months probably... *sigh*
My only hope is to still be in cap in 3 months from now.
Sucks to be me. FML.

hi bonesaw - are you just 'assuming' that your file has been rejected because applications filed later than you have got their CC's debited or do you have something more concrete :) ?

Its pointless to go hard on yourself if you're not absolutely sure about it and going by the fact that 'you can't think of a reason why' .. i am guessing you are not sure about it. So wait and relax. NOC 2281 is not exactly a war zone unlike the other IT related NOCs. Its not a piece of cake either.

But I don't see any reason for you to panic at the moment.

Hello
I have sent my app. on 5 may in which I missed few things to add. can I send these with another courier? Please guide what to do at this stage. W8ing for valuable feedback from seniors.

Hi Seniors,

Please clarify my doubt. I have overall 7.11 yrs of experience. My duties match with 2 NOCs. 4 yrs in 2173 and remaining in 2171. So if I apply for NOC 2171, how many points will I get for my experience ? I will get only for the experience in 2171 or for the entire experience ?

Thanks in advance.
Arun

I would be in same boat , if i decides to go abroad before the finalisation of my Canada case, and according to me , in this case we can come back to India and stay here for few weeks , stamping won't take long time (2-3 weeks) , as per my knowledge.

I have a tricky situation here.

My application stated that I will be applying for FSW EXCLUDING my wife and son but provided proof of funds for the three of us. Can I update my application and include my wife and son once my docs transferred to Local VO?

Thanks
Yes you can update status with your local visa office.
