I wonder where I'm getting my download.
For over 3 hours now...........all I've got is march,2014 version.
I think the mistake is from CIC......there are two links to the forms.......one is July,2014(i still doubt it).....while the forms on the link that have the instruction guide has march,2014 version.
It's really your decision to wait till July,2014 when the so called new version will be unlocked for printing.
If i were you.........if i am you.......I'LL SEND MY APPLICATION PACKAGE IMMEDIATELY.
Cheers.

Discovered it. With google chrome as browser, you will find March 2014 version and with IE/Firefox, you will find July 2014 version. :o :o :o :o

I used 3 different browsers .........same contradictory forms is the result of my download! ;D :D :D

I have 8+ yr work ex.. i have sent my application with my reference letters , joining letters and re-leaving letters .
Although my former and present employers has given me reference letters, it only states my time period, designation and responsibilities.

For proof of salary i have attached salary slips from both my employers.

number of working hours is not mentioned, full time is also not mentioned(i guess they thought it was obvious).

Can it effect my application. If yes, What can i do?

I've compared the two versions of the form and I've noticed two differences:
- they've added spouse Date of Birth field (14e).
- they've added "Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency to assess your proficiency in English or French?" question in the Language Detail section.

Just in case someone still can't download it, you can try downloading it from one of the following links:
[removed the links, as even more recent version of the form is available now]

Let me take a stab at answering this, and hopefully others can suggest as well.

Does your Ph.D. specifically say that it was part-time? I am hoping it does! What was the nature of work during that time, if I may ask? More importantly was it part-time as well (or how many hours per week, along with the Ph. D.?)! Or was it full-time over and above the part-time education? If it was part-time / full-time, is that stated anywhere (in terms of weekly hours worked) on your contract letter/ joining letter/ employment letter?

The way I think it might be evaluated in case of part-time is, let's say 5 years of part-time will essentially mean 2.5 year of full-time (considering you worked at least 15-20 hours per week so essentially half of the regular 30-40 hours full-time weekly routine). However, if your hours worked are lesser than 15-20 per week, the conversion from part-time to full-time will stack up according to the actual hours you have worked during that time vis-à-vis the normal 30 hours per week as specified by CIC for full-time. The way the part-time work experience will be credited to you is basis what is stated in your employment letter / reference letter etc.

Guys, please feel to correct me in case you think otherwise. I would welcome any thoughts / suggestions from experienced members or others in a similar situation on this. Cheers!

I have done part-time Ph.D. from 2008 to 2013. The WES assessed it positively. Will I get the marks for work experience also during this period? If yes, then how to explain the contradiction of dates in the application forms?

I think CIC used this way to tackle the candidates and hence, give the chance to their stuff to finish huge backlog of applications

I believe you will be fine.
My personal experience with rejection letters is that your reference letter must contain your job duties in the duration of the time for which you have worked.
You have included other supporting documents that supported your claim.
Even though your number of hours isn't stated or full time,i believe you will be fine.
Cheers.

I have received PER but my status on ECAS says " in process"
Used last year UCI no.
Should I be worried about not getting PER or it doesn't matter now
5 may 2173

Im also in same condition. No PER yet. Whats your status under "in process". Is it showing application received on so and so date. Or little more.?

In the explanation metioned bottom of there when we click in the application submitted by fsw through nova scotia, sydney shows that all review completed by them and local visa office, now begun processing. But it is mentioned as above in the underlined area to know your application status. Im cofused. Have you experienced the same.?

Hi, got PER mail on 16th June.. App received on 5 May..,in the PER there's a UCI no... Used that one to logon.. In the system it shows " your application received on 5th may".... But as per PER mail "your application now on processing"... The wording indicates to do next correspondence with my Visa Office... Not sure what happened?? Ohh its also written they have encashed my DD 1260 cad and gave a transaction,no....What are the next steps of PER from CIO? Are the SG VO again send a PER??
fyi i am from Dhaka, NOC 2241...not sure why the online system shows just application received????!!!
Pls help me with the steps..
all the best....
