Hey, thanks for clearing up. On this forum I read somewhere that one has to score a minimum of 6 in each of the four categories. Since SaudiExpat has scored 5 in one category, he would not be eligible. But if what you saying is correct than cheers to you mate.

I think you are guys are not understanding eachother quite well.
The 6,6,6, and 5 been referred to is not the bandmark score in IELTS........the score was calculated from the bandmark accoding to CIC instruction.
6 is the highest score while 4 is the lowest.
In essence ,after calculating it,the score was 23 out of the maximum 24 marks.

• City/Town is starred in contact information on page 2 of the form

• On page 3, the new form asks whether test to prove language proficiency was taken in Language Detail

• Same change on page 4 for Language Detail for spouse and subsequently for all dependents

• On last page in “Consent and Declaration” in the new form, consent is asked for CIC to contact the applicant and to share applicant data with prospective employers. In the old form, consent to be contacted by CIC was not asked for.

• When you validate the completed form, the Bar codes are dated 2014. The old form was generating barcodes dated 2013 (at least the one I was filling up was)

Do I need to get the experience letters with roles and responsibilities with all the employers or jst the last 2 which match the NOC ?

Hi guys, do y'all know if I can count my work experience in one on FSW occupation list from the country where I didn't have a work authorization and worked for cash as self- employed? I got the reference letter form employer. If so, what also do I need to attach to prove my one year experience? will CiC question my experience? Please advise

try to get reference letter from all employers, if you are able to get reference letter from current and past 1 employer and the total exp of such jobs is 6+ then you may ignore rest of them. It is recommended to submit reference from last 10 years. If you are unable to get it then submit and affidavit with your roles and responsibilities.

Fill out, validate, print, sign and date your application forms.

To make sure you submit all the pages, follow these steps.

IMM 0008 form

Click the “Validate” button at the top or bottom of the form.
Note: Validating the form before printing makes sure that you have answered all the questions. This will help you to avoid delays in processing your application.

A last page with barcodes and a signature line will automatically be created.
Print, sign and date the form.
For best results:
print on white, bond-quality, non-glossy paper and
use a laser printer.
Place the barcode page on top of your package. If you have more than one package, place a separate barcode page on each one.
