In the Background Declaration form

Under Education
Name of institution should be the College Name or the University Name and for School it should be the school name or Name of the examination Board?

Under Personal History
What is the column meant as STATUS IN COUNTRY

Provisional and convocation certificates usually have Board and university name not college name .

Since you will be sending copies of these along with WES report, better to put the same name(board and univ name)

STATUS IN COUNTRY usually is Citizen or student or Work permit holder or refugee etc

I'm confused over barcodes, where could we generate that among available forms? Heard that it has to be placed in the foremost front of our application, true??

IMM0008ENU_2D Generic application form for Canada

fill this out on a computer and hit the validate button

Bar codes are generated if all goes well.

As per instructions the bar code sheet is to be the first sheet of your app

Doesn't matter if you keep it first or in same sequence. :)

Attach annexure.

Guys!

Just one thought:
Are ppl filling the spreadsheet more this year? I mean, last year the applications sent before May 12th were very low compared to this year.
I really think that we should consider that more than 40% of the total FSW applicants are on our spredsheet this year compared to the ~25% last year.

What do you think?

Good luck for everyone!

Add a separate sheet . Include your full name, title of the form , number of the question being answered at the top.

Sign and date at the end.

Thanks

Congratulations, madman. Next up, you'll hopefully receive a PER email (if you wrote your email address on the form, else they will send it via regular mail), and then the application will be sent to your regional visa office for the final evaluation. Some offices send you an AOR (acknowledgement of receipt), others don't. They will check your information, possibly call your employers and former employers, and you may be called for an interview.

If all goes well, then, you will be instructed to undergo a medical examination with an accredited physician, then you have to pay a fee, send your passport andthey will give you the passport with a stamped immigrant visa and your CoPR (Certificate of permanent residence), which means you may finally land in Canada as an immigrant.

Good luck!
