If you have applied last year, then you can check the status of your application using your old UCI number

what is the procedure to check status of application using old UCI NUMBER as i my file returned last year due to cap filled but i dont know about allotment of UCI number for returned cases

Dear Applicants,

In this case, you can use old Generic Form but remeber to submit a written explanation that July 2014 Generic Form was available to download but it wasn't printable, therefore you used old Generic Form. This written explanation will protect you against using old form because applications of few applicants were rejected due to old forms.

Otherwise, you guys will have to wait until CIC will get it fixed.

Rumen has raised a good point here.

The prospective applicants those who don't have the previous forms saved on computer , how will they apply if the new form is not printable?

Dollyy,

Why don't you consider using UPS courier service. It is the fastest service for North American destinations especially this part of Canada. This is just my suggestion; rest is your decision.

By the way, address is correct.

Yeah you are right. But actually, I had bad experience with UPS. I got my WES report by UPS and it took 5 days to reach from canada to dubai, whereas, when i sent my docs to WES through fedEx they reached in just 3 days. Thats why sending my app through FDx.

Dear All,
Apart from the consent & declaration section...there is one more change i observed..
The field Native language has been made to Native language/Mother tongue...
Hence in the footer (bottom left) of every page we have now IMM 0008 (07-2014)E rather than IMM 0008 (03-2014)E reflecting this change.

My query is i sent my application yesterday & obviously i had sealed my application by the time this update was made..Will it have any impact on my application that i used old form??

you need to right click and save the form on ur computer. and then open the file using acrobet reader or adobe reader

yes its working.. i didnt try printing.. i think it will be enable once the form is validated.

Hi Dimpy ,
Please check forms that returned you last year due to cap fill , you would able to find 8 numeric digit number in place of UCI in Generic application form.

This is a very very minor issue - your file will not rejected for this. Relax and start waiting for PER.

Actually I was trying to fill in the new form sine one of the applicant claimed the new form is not printable.
Then I found out about my errors. Hope this could get through.
Started a little buttery in my stomach already.

FYI, the new generic form is not printable.
Print option is unable.
Like what Century advice, it might be locked down for July. Maybe we should find out from the CIC.
