Hello all,

Finally, Ready with my app, Will be sending my application package tomorrow morning. Just a quick question:

1- I didn't find a 9″ x 12″envelope, i got 10″ x 15″. Can i send my app in this size envelope(seems a silly question :P but i am bit over cautious)

2- The addresses shown on CIC website, I can write it with pen on the envelope? or I have to take print out of it and stick it on the envelope?

CAN ANYONE REPLY TO MY 2 LITTLE INNOCENT QUESTIONS ?
:( :(

Thanks

Assured : 21 points (for Bachelor's)
Not sure about 1 semester.

Play safe & assume 21 for Self assessment.. if you get more, its merrier :)

Hi All,

I received my WES report in post yesterday.

It reads as follows:

Bachelors of Business Administration = canadian bachelors

Post graduate certificate in International Buisness Managment = one semester of graduate study.

Kindly advise how many points will the above accrue??

Thanks

Hi misha can I know what is pool funds & nosto a/c even I am also facing problem from indussind bank they are also saying the same. Can't find status of mydd

As I understand it the Bank has an internal account from which foreign demand drafts are cleared. When the bank issues a DD on your behalf, the amount you pay is deposited in that account. When CIC collects the DD, the fund gets deducted from that account, which is again, an internal account, so you cannot see what's happening. Now some banks seem to offer a service of tracking the DD, but unfortunately Standard Chartered Bank (from where my DD was issued) does not.

I'm not an expert. This is only my understanding. Others please feel free to give your feedback.

U can use the bigger envelope, it shouldn't be a problem & for the address u can write either with pen or print it..
Don't worry about these small issues, try to send the application asap to make the caps..
Gud luck

Great news.. just coming at a time when everybody is getting desperate :)
Congrats !

Gaurav Jazwal,

Let me share my experience with you; I had got translated marriage certificate from embassy of home country in overseas and also obtained attested photocopy of original marriage certificate. This is what I submitted only. I have already receieved PPR.

I suggest you to get translation and attested copy of original BC from a reputed party, then it will get through even without an affidavit.

+1 mate for sharing valuable information. It will help a lot.

Just one query. Is the translator a certified translator or translation from embassy is by default accepted.

Dolly,

You can use 10" x 15" envelop, it is OK.

You can write the address on the envelop with a pen.

Dear Experts ...

I have a query regarding 'Additional Family Information' Form; I understand that both the principal applicant and his/her spouse (as well as all children aged 18 or above) must fill this form. Can you please guide me:

1. How should a spouse fill the SECTION A of the said Form?
2. In first row of SECTION A, Relationship is already printed as 'Applicant.' So, here the spouse is to be considered as Applicant and he/she should give his/her Name in the first column?

Kind regards and thanks in advance.

Raza

To be very frank, I didn't confirm if the translator used by Embassy is a certified translator but Embassy stamped official seals signed by Embassy's officer on translation as well as on original photocopy.

As you know, Embassies don't stamp on any document just like that.

Well ! I would like to answer your query.

There are 2 stages involved for getting any intimation from CIO.

Stage 1 is Completion of documents as per check list by CIO and Visa office

If all docs are completes
{
CC/DD charge
if(CC/DD charged)
{
Face value evaluation of documents begins means Eligibility review done by CIO
if (positive)
{
Wait for PER email
}
else
{
Wait for NER by ordinary post && Fees refund process begins
}
}
}
else
{
rejection
}
