I am hearing on this forum.. That people from 5th and 6th may are getting PER..

My brother's file reached CIC on 2nd may under 1112, and still there is no news and as it was DD its hard to figure out whether its cleared or not..

Any such cases pending of 2nd may..? any comments?

Wait friend. Some time it take more time as there is huge pressure of applications.

Hello all,

Finally, Ready with my app, Will be sending my application package tomorrow morning. Just a quick question:

1- I didn't find a 9″ x 12″envelope, i got 10″ x 15″. Can i send my app in this size envelope(seems a silly question :P but i am bit over cautious)

2- The addresses shown on CIC website, I can write it with pen on the envelope? or I have to take print out of it and stick it on the envelope?

ANYONE CAN REPLY TO MY 2 LITTLE INNOCENT QUESTIONS ?
:( :(

Thanks

I'm checking my email so many times a day, it's not even funny anymore! >:(

Just check once a day around 8pm Nova Scotia time. Frequent checking is meaningless and will increase you anxiety only.

i agree as some time they don't send PER but update the ECAS status like my case(5 may 2173)
they will send the PER later
If you have your UCI no., try it.

Hi Delhi2173..This is not rule of thumb
In my case PER came first then after 2 days ecas status updated...

@destinationca

It depends if you're running short of pass points (67+), you can submit Spouse's IELTS (min. 4 band each) to fetch 5 points for Adaptability. It is not related to his travel to Canada. How many points you are getting per Self Assessment ?

You should Fill all the Forms for yourself, Dependents (additional forms), show Settlement funds as per your family etc. The decision to migrate your family or not can be considered later.

Thanks, that helps! Correct me if I am wrong, by doing so I cannot claim against my spouse's points under Adaptability? Also, can you also list down the forms that need to be included for me pls ..

Hi Century/Ashif,

I checked with Notary for birth certificate translation. They are ready to translate birth certificates to English and notarize it. However, they are not ready to give affidavit.

Can it be a reason for rejection of application?

Thanks

At-least maintain the following twos:
1. Must include a notarized (certified) copy of the original non-English birth certificate
2. Must include a notarized translation made by an official translator

Also if you have you 10th Class marksheet which contain your full name, your father's full name, and your DoB, it will also serve the purpose.

My application for NOC 2132 reached CIC on 8th May.
Just had a doubt does CIC process all the files in order of date they received irrespective of NOC codes or do they take up files of one NOC and then move onto another?
In the spreadsheet, for NOC 2132 just 5 people have been charged or received PERs.

Seniors your comment here would be highly appreciated..

There is something i do not understand! why does CIO need the BC??

if they need it for the birth date, the birth date is already mentioned in the passport which is much more stronger official document than the BC.

i think they need it to assure your father name and that the applicant name himself is not a combined name. ::). Now if it is for that reason, why don't CIO just ask to include the father's passport or any other form of the official identity.

Hello All,

I am almost done with my application for FSW- NOC 2132.

I see many of them with NOC receiving status update. Am I too late to apply..??

What are the chances of making it to the cap?

Regards,
Thanks in advance for the reply.

Gaurav Jazwal,

Let me share my experience with you; I had got translated marriage certificate from embassy of home country in overseas and also obtained attested photocopy of original marriage certificate. This is what I submitted only. I have already receieved PPR.

I suggest you to get translation and attested copy of original BC from a reputed party, then it will get through even without an affidavit.
