Hello all,
I am sending my app tonight can anyone guide me what is self-addressed mailing label?

Print out your mailing address in English and your native language on an A4 sized paper.

Thats it.

Thanks.

Label with your address mentioned.
This is the label that CIC would paste on your application package, while returning your package in the unfortunate event of your application getting rejected - either due to CAP fill or otherwise.

you mean i should write my address on a piece of paper and include in application package??

That's correct. 1/3rd of A4 size should be fine for making label.

I called up WES today, for my case...

This time I was frustrated and Polite.....No Use......Same stereotype answer...."We can only see what you can see on your account online, Your file is under review."

It says official language, not native language. I think for India, the official language is English.
Probably for Pakistan itz Urdu

Dear Ashif/Seniors,
What if someone switches his job after submitting FSW application?? Does he need to do anything to update them??

Once your file has been transferred to local office, you can update them by including a reference letter from your new company mentioning all the details required by CIC like start date, job responsibilities etc

Friends....

I know this might be a little premature and I'm sure that all active and helpful members here would immidiatley share the good news without me having to ask buy would any 8th of May applicants (esp under NOC 2174) as soon as they get notification of their CC charged ...would they please shout out on the forum (promise I'll organize a mega celebration :) )

Reason in particular is as I mentioned in my very first post here...is that I am actually following here on behalf of my Bro who's the actual applicant. ..Unfortunately he does not recieve SMS for his CC transactions but he can call the banks call Centre and get confirmation or through their online portal..

So once we see any activity for 8th May he can confirm with his bank and of course I will also update here with any news

Cheers guys and I really wish the best to all the wonderful people here

Anyways don put an effort to ans me now.. have lot more helpful ppl on d forum to guide

Well miss, you need not get offended :) Now as per your questions, once your CC is charged, within 2 weeks (averaged, may vary a couple of days) you might get a PER via e-mail (if you have mentioned your mail id) or via regular post at your address. This will contain your UCI number and file number and other stuff. After that your file is trasferred to the local Visa Office you mentioned in the app and you may(all VO don't intimate that) get an AOR, which means they have received your file. Then your local Vo will contact you accordingly.

The reason everyone is asking your UCI number is because it remains the same for an applicant. Even in future if you apply for any visa the UCI number would be same. So when the CIC sends your a PER update, they have already updated the system with your status. Just to see the status before receiving the actual PER (to take advantage of the delay between status updation and sending of PER) you can use the UCI number on the E-CAS portal.

Hope that helps :)
