Any news on DHL delivery whose who were waiting till Monday for DHL delivery. My application is on ONTARIO since 12th Jun, file is not moving

same case with mine bijoy_16, docs status since june 12 was departed ontario.i called the local dhl hotline but they could not give information today as it is still sunday in canada. the representative will call me again tomorrow for update. will PM you in case i get information.

It is 6 months, I got this confirmation from bank.

Any Idea how long are the ICICI DD are valid 3 months ? 6 months ? (CIC expects the validity to be minimum of 5 months)
Is there anyway I can extend the validity to 6 months ?

For temporary visitor visa, passport need to be sent through vfsglobal at Gulshan;

This is worth seeking some confirmation on.

What I have heard from my colleagues is that regardless of whether it is for temporary visa or permanent, a passport must be submitted to VFS. Also, it is regardless of the destination; be it Australia, Canada, UK, China, etc.

As I have been told, it is because the companies that provide courier services in Bangladesh are now prohibited by the Gov't to deal with individuals who want to bring into, or send out of, the country their personal passports. It is said that a certain "politically significant" fugitive in past misused the courier service.

Of course, one can legally send his passport via the diplomatic channel with the Foreign Ministry's consent, if privileged to do so, but that is a separate issue.

I personally do not like the idea of having to go through VFS and I wish that what I have heard from my colleagues were wrong, but I myself would like to see someone confirming/refuting its credibility.

They say, VFS employees often exhibit gestures in such a way as if they themselves are Visa Officers. Their aloof/cold interaction with clients standing in line is not really praise worthy.

For the FEE Payment Form:

I am the Principal Applicant and the Payer as well.

In the fee payment form under Section A where it says 'Address of Payer (If different from Principal Applicant)' - should this be the address under which the Credit Card is registered because that address is different from my current residential address ?

Or can i leave it as N/A ?

If you application is more then 8 months old then you can send enquiry mail to cic to know the status,
then then please prepare the other documents for reapply....

Extremely sorry for hurting you :-[ :-[ :-[. I know, you did not received medical request. Now just realize Passport need to be sent after medical request.

For temporary visitor visa, passport need to be sent through vfsglobal at Gulshan; later on, medical request is issued. I messed up thing with permanent visa and temporary visa.

Dear All,

I am planning on resending a letter to the CIC with updated payment information. (the credit card I gave them with the original package got lost, and now I have a replacement with a different security code. The CC company informed me that the old card automatically got disabled when the new one became active)


Can someone clarify what 'certified cheque' in form IMM5620 means? Would a personal check linked to an American checking account in USD be acceptable?
I was thinking of including that as well, in the amount of 550CAD (550CAD * USDCAD exchange rate + small buffer amount) ?
Anyone have any thoughts or should I just not bother because USA cheques are not accepted?
