He guys...

As someone already recieved his MR...maybe I could be so bold and ask a question way ahead in the future :)

If anyone has heard about it or had any experience with this...does the Cairo VO send an AOR by email once the file is transferred to them from CIO?

Thanks Oscar.

Other fields which is not grayed out after validation should write N/A?

Answer of Intended occupation in Generic form should be same as Q.12 a, of Economic form?
or Current occupation(Designation or job title "Tehcnical Lead") of Generic form should be similar to "Q.12 a, Occuaption "

Should I have to staple my documents except forms?

I used paper clip for forms only
Sure, N/A makes sense for such situations.

Yes, both should be same as your NOC title, e.g. could be Purchasing Manager.
Don't staple anything at all; not recommended. Only use paper clips and/ or binder clips, as needed.

For Self Employed ones, they are the Employer themselves !
hence the Note: Self declared.... Not acceptable 8)

Bottom line: the letter has to come from your Employer / Supervisor/ HR or 3rd party whichever is applicable.

(I wish CIC Edit some of their Guidelines and put it them simple in... layman terms) :P

If you go with the spirit of the language, it is more applicable for employed staffs. And if you look back 2013 reject list, you will definitely find some answer.

Hi,

My current and previous employers are not ready to give work reference letters, so I'm planning to prepare an affidavit and get signed by my manager. Also I don't have birth certificate, so prepared an affidavit and attaching 10th certificate. My question is do I have to prepare 2 covering letters for both reference letter and birth certificate. If yes, what is the format. Please share the format including to whom I should address in the letter.

Thanks in advance.
Arun

hi everyone.
Can someone help me with my concern please?

I have sent my application for me and my spouse and child.
My dilemma is, my spouse MIGHT be in Canada by August or September this year for a WORK PERMIT.
If we got our luck for FSW, what would be the process? does he need to terminate and cancel his work permit and go back to Philippines for the Immigrant visa stamping? or is there any process of shifting from Work Permit to Immigrant that he could already do it from Canada itself?

Is it possible to get MR done before even getting the request for it? I have my UCI number...

I know I am being too optimistic with this.

I'll be traveling to US, Poland, nd Germany for next 7 months; so wanted to get MR done in my home country (India) before I leave.

The MR will have a validity period so if you do it too early it might just expire ...better wait till the VO asks for it

Hello Boarders,

someone just made be nervous about the address I had sent my package for processing. Please, can anybody on this board, confirm if I haven't a mistake in the address ;

I send my application via private courier for FSW 2014 (Occupation 1112) to following address
"Citizenship and Immigration Canada,Federal Skilled Worker,NOC Category, Offer of Arranged Employment category or PhD category
Primary NOC 2011 Code: 1112, 49 Dorchester Street, Sydney, NS, B1P 5Z2, Canada"

My application was received and signed by D. STEPHESON on 9th May. Since then I haven't heard anything, and neither is my CC charged.

Can someone please confirm if I posted my package at the right address ? Anyone else whose application was received and signed by D. STEPHESON ? I dont see this name on the spreadsheet.

Note: I will add my details shortly. Cant remember my exact total points

Address is absolutely fine! Seems like new guys are helping to take the work load off of the regular guys. Cheer up! :)
PS - I see a lot of folks on spread sheet with D Stapleton as the application recipient. Have you spelled the name correctly?

No problem with your address and receiver. At the moment judging the responses from the forum , they still have not moved beyond 7th May applications.

Don't worry.

Thanks
