almost same mine it was 2 pounds in weight ..lol
CIC takes longer for establishing eligibility and each day is treated equally so depends on lot of factors
some applications are complicated .. it happens ,

Why would it matter how many documents an applicant submitted? Just wondering what difference it would make as long as CIC is able to establish that the application is complete and appears eligible.

If more documents means longer processing time, I'm in trouble as my application was about 150 pages.

How long were other people's applications?

I am submitting 10 th class certificate and affidavit instead of bc , so in document checklist should i tick the column of birth certificate, id......
And where to place cover letter affidavit for bc.. On top or at proper order only ??

What more of an assistance can i get from a hired immigration consultant that would be more than what people like shaif,century,Goku,kollins and even u scylla give us here ? You know sometimes 'we' newbies wnat to remain newbies forever and expects to be spoon fed ;D All the same,thanks for the link.

Just relax buddy....This yr CIC has loaded more compare to FSW13....For us it took 2 months....

So i guess u are not too far....Take a bit more patience ...

5. PERSONAL DETAIL OF MOTHER- My mother uses my fathers name as her last name, the question here is asking for mother's family name at birth. Is it ok if I put my father's name as her last name.. or I have to give her original last name at birth (In the additional family info form I wrote her name as she writes now.. her name than my father's name as her last).

6. c. I selected 'yes' option as I visited canada once. and after that in the blank space I mentioned my canadian visitor visa detail.
Did I do it right or should I simply select 'No' as an answer for 6.c?

8. Personal detail: I filled all time with detail but there was 3 month gap between my BBA and starting of MBA so I wrote- "Preparing for higher study and job" as activity. Please comment if I wrote it right.

12. This one is bit complex. If I count last 10 years, I stayed in my current address from 2004 till September 2008, then I went for my mba in uk, stayed 6.5 months, came back home in vacation, stayed in current address for 1 month, went back again to UK to complete study, stayed 5.5 month, afterward came back and till now staying in my current home. so there are two address- 1. home country, 2. UK address.

How should I write the detail!? based on in and out should I just write the addresses? Like--
1. 2004-06 to 2008-09 --- home country
2.2008-10-2009-04-----UK
3. 2009-04-2009-05---Home country
4. 2009-06-2009-10----UK
5.2009-11--- till present--home country :S :S :S

Please help..... I am very confused..
