where did you specify dob of your mother in law on schedule 3 form ?? are you sure u filled in schedule 3 economic classes form ?

Hi guys!

Sorry for the silly question, I'm currently filling up the Supplementary Information on Travels and it requires that I write the city and country. My query is for Hong Kong, should I put Hong Kong, China or Kowloon, Hong Kong in the form. Also since during trips, its a fact that we visit various cities, is it enough to note just one in the form? Thanks!

Hi, please use black/dark colors next time when posting. Some of us have difficulty with that bright yellow you used. :D Now to your questions; CIC uses different teams of reviewers for each NOC. They are not subject matter experts but for administrative ease. Part of what they do is ensure that the responsibilities indicated by an applicant in their application matches the roles for each NOC as spelt out in the NOC list.
The NOCS you see' jumping high' are those occupations for which there are traditionally always high numbers of applicants. The other NOCS just happen to have less applications, there were even NOCS in past FSW programs which received no applications at all from applicants
Cheers :P

How do you know this?

You need to provide utility bill or credit card statement copy or recent tax assessment; her name and address should be there in the statement.

Check document checklist ,point 14 (proof of residency)

Thanks

As she is aged, she doesn't work and hence doesn't have credit card.

Will bank statement alone containing her name and address not be sufficient?

As she is aged, she doesn't work and hence doesn't have credit card.

Last bulleted point in point 14 states that credit card and bank statemrnt.

Will bank statement alone containing her name and address not be sufficient?

Degree evaluated as Masters will fetch him 23 points; it does not matter whether 1 MBA degree or 10 MBAs degree.

However, for any reason, if WES evaluated your friend's one degree as equivalent to bachelors, then his mark will go down to 21; two bachelors degree will fetch 22 points.

So, I recommend doing assessment of 2 MBA degrees to get at least 22 points assuming your friend has done his degree from private university. And if your friend already received enough points, then go for only one MBA degree assessment.

Thanks a lot.

Well since the last point mentions, credit card invoices and bank statements , I am not sure if Bank statements alone is sufficient. I don't want to misguide you.

In this case, try to provide other documents along with the bank statements mentioned on the checklist, may be she has utility bills on her name?

Thanks

Hey champ..... Cool down.. Patience is the key here. Be positive. 7th may CCs have not yet started. So you will have to wait a bit more..

I'm a bit of a high-anxiety person. ;D :o :o :o

Document checklist suggest Credit Card and Bank statement; not sure whether only bank statement will work.

If you can show the source information (how is money being spent and deposited in Canada) it may work. Such as paying any bill with the bill copy as supporting.

Guys suggestions ? If I send a letter, are they going to entertain it and change my form with the latest one is sent?

Hi guys,

I have a situation here. I applied from India and my app reached the CIO on 07 May, 2014. Now, the problematic part is -
I have opted for the payment through CC. But due to some RBI guidelines, the bank (ICICI) has replaced all existing credit cards with the new ones which would have chip and pin enabled. Due to this, my old card (whose details i gave in my app) is going to get deactivated on 20 June, 2014.

So any advise is welcome on if i should write to CIO a letter with the new payment information form or just wait as i see the 07 May applications are near by.

Regards,
Mohit Kaura
