Hi

Family Photograph need to attach with the application ?

First confirm if your understanding regarding family members is the same as below:
1. Spouse
2. Common law partner
3.Dependent children
4.Dependent child of a dependent child

If yes then please check point 19 on the document checklist

Thanks

I need help urgently. I am preparing application for my spouse and 4 kids. Hope I do not sound silly but I need some help:

- should the birth certificate for my spouse have both parents name on it? Only his mother's name is on it. I know for the children it should show both parents.

- one of my dependent is in college in my country. On the 'Generic Application Form' what should I put in the field for 'present occupation' and 'intended occupation' because presently he is a student.

Need urgent response.

Thanks

Not a problem if the birth certificate of your spouse doesn't have both parents names on it. You may want to explain in an annexure.

Present occupation student. Intended occupation will be whatever he intends to do--continue his studies, put student, begin working, put whatever occupation he wants to pursue.

In Background declaration form or any other family info. forms,

what name of mother is required to be mentioned,

Name as before marriage OR Name as after marriage...???

The one that asks for your mother's name "at birth" should be her maiden name. The other should be her current name.

Dear Experts,

One of my colleagues completed MBA majoring in Marketing. After that he completed one post graduate degree and one professional degree in HR. Now he is working in HR department for last 7 years and would like to apply in HR NOC.

Should he complete ECA for MBA (Marketing) or both MBA (Marketing) & other two degree (in HR) as well to get point in Education?

Any expert opinion regarding this issue??

I am not an expert. ECA for highest level of education is enough .

Thanks.

Hi All,

My aunt is permanent resident in canada.

Is her bank statement enough to prove her residency or additional docs are required?

Regards

Hello Admin,

I need your opinion on a certain matter please. When I was flipping through the copies of the application forms and documents that I sent to CIO, I discovered that I had a typo on my mother-in-law's date of birth. In the Schedule 3 - I typed it as May 3, while in the additional family background form - it was May 13, which is the correct one. Do you think this will delay or affect my application? If you had an experience like this I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Your thoughts please!? Thanks

Degree evaluated as Masters will fetch him 23 points; it does not matter whether 1 MBA degree or 10 MBAs degree.

However, for any reason, if WES evaluated your friend's one degree as equivalent to bachelors, then his mark will go down to 21; two bachelors degree will fetch 22 points.

So, I recommend doing assessment of 2 MBA degrees to get at least 22 points assuming your friend has done his degree from private university. And if your friend already received enough points, then go for only one MBA degree assessment.

You need to provide utility bill or credit card statement copy or recent tax assessment; her name and address should be there in the statement.

LOL @ Shah2014..trust me my intention was not to mislead anyone. As i have clarified in my earlier posts immediately after everyone started congratulating me...i posted that just to grab everyone's attention as i was not getting any reverts from the forum. My bad and I apologies for the same.

That's really terrible.
