I no longer see the relevant post. Did someone post a fake e-mail from CIC that 2174 had been capped? CIC wouldn't give out this information before updating their own cap page.

1. What is a last date for application?

2. what is a NOC & how much time it will take to obtain it?

3. How much time ECA process will take & from which university would it be easier.

Hi, a friend of mine who had PR visa back to Jan 2008 and lost it as he didn't stay there. He applied last year and wasn't successful due to cap.
He wants to apply this year.

However, he checks "Client Application Status" and getting error "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided".

Any advise please why the old data are not showing?.

Dear all

I am facing a serious problem with my work experience. I am a research student (leading to PhD), performing research in the areas of civil engineering. However, i am employed at the university, working full time (40 hours/week), and receive holidays/other benefits. My duties follow the specification provided by NOC for Civil Engineers. My question is, is my work experinece valid for FSW application? In the FAQ file it is stated that 'Your work experience must have been full-time (or the equivalent in part-time hours), worked continuously and paid, for over at least one year in the same occupation. Often, jobs as teaching, research or lab assistants at post-secondary institutions are part time, only for the academic year, not the full year and would not count toward the work experience requirement for this program.'
However, since I am employed full-time and receiving salary, will my work experience be valid? Please share your ideas/experiences

In your case it sounds like it would count.

That depends, is your sister hot?

You only need to send pictures of yourself and your dependant applicants. You don't have any dependant applicants, and your parents and sister can't be dependant applicants (only spouse and children), so you only need pictures of yourself.
