Hi,,,,am new here,,,, I have a question please,,, how can I know the minimum IELTs score required for each noc? Thanxxxxx.... Good luck for all

The minimum IELTS score required in all four segments is 6.0, and this is irrespective of the NOC to which you are applying. CIC would not punish/favour you based on NOC to which you are applying.

I agree. I can not see many PER being issued since last week. May be by this weekend they will start issuing more PERs. You can check your ECAS status if you have UCI.
1. Do CIO guys come to know who has checked ECAS status how many times?
2. Is it viewed negatively if one keeps checking their application status, say once in a week or so?
3. I am asking the above as once I copied the link to check but didn't really do anything and after a while the page started blinking with a message asking whether I want to stay on the page or log-off. Though I hadn't yet entered my details on the page.
4. Can someone share the link for that page again please?
Thanks very much! :)

@kanikachowdhry
Yes you can, but one should be in your country's official language

After printing, put them in an envelope and write/type "self addressed mailing labels".

The document checklist sstates that we need 2 self addresses mailing labels - can I just type it in word and send it across?

Congrats my friend Wanderer24*7.. I feel very happy for u.. :) :) :P

I have a few questions for anyone that can help.

1. Do we need to certify documents that are only available online? For example, my I94 card from the US is available only electronically, so technically what I print is the original. Also, my reference letter from the employer is also electronic with electronic signature. What do I do about that?
2. My marriage certificate says it is illegal to make a copy of it. I have multiple originals of that. So can I just send the original?
3. Also, for documents showing legal residence in the country other than the country of origin, are these required only for the principal applicant or also for the spouse?

Thanks.

@ Oscar7
Although i dont know the answer to your query, but the blinking is on account of a script, which is intended to keep the info confidential if you are going to leave it open accidentally. So, it warns you that you have not done any activity on the page for last (lets say) 5 min, and if your purpose is served, PLEASE CLOSE ME (the page).

It can be used for monitoring purposes as well, but i think CIC has more imp things to do (although your worry is justified). Another purpose of the script could be to avoid traffic load on the server, if it has limited capacity, as some ppl might keep the page open for many days just to avoid login/opening the page again n again when they want to get the update.

But in my opinion, even if they are monitoring, it should be safe to check it even once in 2-3 days.

Though I have wrote about it before but still bit confused so please give a last advice regarding it... :(
I traveled to canada in year 1998, so got tourist visa for that. people saying that visa should contain UCI but I am totally unsure where is it so keeping the UCI space in generic form blank.
Is it a big issue here? Am i doing wrong? Do you think explaining it in cover letter will help as I don't know the UCI and keeping it blank?

Thank you mate. I have employer reference letters. My question is will they accumulate experience if it s less than a year in company. Tks :)

So long as your experience was at skill type 0 or skill level A or B you will get points for it all.

Not a problem. If you have a UCI, CIC will find it from the info you provide even if you can't find it and leave the space blank. Don't worry.

Finally after a long wait my cc is charged today :) :) :P NOC 2174 Application Reached May 06

Thank you so much to all of you for your help and advise during the process. I wish everyone this forum get this news ASAP.

One more thing I would like to share, I applied for two applications 2174 and 2171 both reached at same time on May 06. I see two charges on my credit card from CIC so I guess I am charged for both the applications. Does anybody know what would be the next step? Would they email me to choose one application and refund me for other?

congrats!!
