1.Register at the below website for Passport India.

2. Login and complete online application for PCC. Payment is optional at this stage and can be done when you physically visit PSK.

3. Take printout of your ARN (Acknowledgement receipt number)

4. Go to PSK Lalbhagh or PSK Sai Arcade, Bellandur with ARN printout and address proof documents between 9-11 AM any following day as PCC service is walk-in before 11 AM I believe. If you passport address is same as current address, you'll possibly receive your PCC in 2 hours. If it isn't as was in my case, they'll collect the fee and verified documents, and send them to your local police station in Bangalore, who'll then call you with documents and photo to verify address and identity and fill their own form with your info. Lastly, they'll send this form with the docs to Commissioner office, who then stamp the same and send to your PSK. In my case the whole scenario including police verification took 5 days.

As per CIC website it says..PCC needs to be submitted from all places where you lived more than six months.

I was working in UK for more than 6 months..In this case does it mean I need PCC from UK as well apart from my home country.

Yes you need to get PCC from UK as well. However its not too difficult to get the UK pcc.

People send package not because you or I or anyone else tells them anything. They do it based on when their package is ready. As far as future, you or I am concerned all 3 of us have send the package in early May. No one needs any hope, positive or negative. And our given hope will not change reality. The reality remains there is not enough "statistically significant" data at this time to be able to predict when NOCs will exhaust. Do you understand number-crunching, or data analysis? Do you have any professional experience in that area? Umm, for example are you aware of what a Test-Control group analysis means? Just curious! Right now we don't even know that the data shared by CIC is for what period, for heaven's sake.

Bottom line is people will be able to send package based on when they are ready with everything, not based on our predictions.

This year when i went to get $550 DD from my HDFC bank they asked me about my 15CA and 15CB certificate to get a Foreign currency DD.
Bank said its mandatory now "To do any transaction in foreign currency u need to submit 15CA and 15CB certificate here in india"
So i went to a near by CA to get it and he charged me 1500 for this

I also prepared DD from HDFC bank (having account with it) in Pune, no such 15CA or 15 CB were asked from me.

Last year my file was rejected because WES has given me wrong report of my ECA that 3 year post secondary education from non-recognized institute.i contacted WES to recorrect my report but they refused to anything.


But this year i have got my ECA from ICAS stating My MCA as Canadian Masters and My Bca as Canadian 3 years bachelor degree..


hoping for good this year.

I have done a 2 year diploma in electronics from an autonomous institute in India after my HSC. I have submitted my documents to WES and they have recieved it 5 days ago, but my account still shows "Documents received - Review in Progress".

Do you think it is advisable to call them? Email doesn't help.

Yes u can call them and ask about ur file status... usually they take some time to update the status

Its no chai - coffee yaar, simply WES has provided a "Poke" button to CIO on their website. As soon as CIO logs into a Applicant with non FSW Package, the VO hits the 'Poke' button on his webpage. The mail system delivery system (some algorithm) of WES then shoots a mail to u with expectation of some gandhijiis , lincolns etc
