Hi All,

My birth certificate, my mother's and aunt's certificate are in my native language i.e. punjabi

As per guide 7000,

If a certificate is not in English or French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator.

What does accredited translator mean?

Can i not translate certificate on my own and get it attested?

translators are need to be licensed from ur local authority...

Try to Contact ur local Notary Public....usually they have the resources who are authorized to do the required translation....

Hv som doubts.1).wt is ths PER actually.is that the file number send by CIC.
2)does DD enchased means tht our file is complete and eligible.
Pls help....

How much is the approximate requirements of funds for a single applicant .
I showed Canadian $ 15000+ at the time of application . Now I have near about $12000+ in my saving bank account.

My question is How much should I have in my account all the time ?
Plus as someone mentioned it will be required to show at the time of landing now . How much minimum we require to show there?

In your bad days .. it does effect .. you can attach an affidavit stating that both the names are of the same person

Hello there everyone!
So it has come to discussion many times recently asking how to post images here.
Often times it is hard to describe it. I figure most people learn faster on visualization so for all of your benefits, I screen-capped the steps you can take to post an image on here if ever needed to. Hope you enjoy!
P.S. Sorry I can not do anything to change the size of the images. The site makes it that small. When in doubt just follow the arrows.

First step: Upload your image to a host site for storing photos online. In this example I will be using Photobucket.

Second step: Once you have finished uploading your image. You will select the whole "direct url" shown here by the arrow.

Third step: Once you have the code selected. You will need to right-click and copy the link for the image.

Fourth step: Come back onto the forum and click "reply". Now you need to click the "insert image" icon shown here by the arrow.

Fifth step: Now that you have clicked the "insert image" icon it should pop up an "img code". See example.

Sixth step: Now that the image code has been inserted. You will click to put your cursor between the code, right click, then paste.

Seventh step: And now you should have the "direct url" pasted in between the image code. Once previewed, you can click post. You should now see an image.

I hope this thread helps people and is easy to follow. I don't know if it will be helpful to a lot of people but I figured it wouldn't hurt to show people how to use this feature of the site. Let me know if you like it or it was helpful. Also, try it out in this thread with posting a picture if you like. Good luck posting pictures.

Finally-----The 3rd,4th,5th,6th,7th steps are not necessary
if in 2nd step, instead of "direct link" click on "IMG" link, then insert it in the body of you message.

Dear All,
This is regarding one of my freind's case. could you please provide me a solution.

surname empty in passport

My daughter's surname in passport is empty,while the given name is as "first name middle name last name".While trying to fill the form IMM008,the surname field is mandatory and it is mentioned to be same as in passport.Hence i cannot leave the surname blank nor enter a valid name since in the passport its blank.Please let me know your comments

In this case --U can write "NOT APPLICABLE" on the surname portion of the generic form....

1. PER-Positive Eligibility Review--yes it will contain ur APP number and UCI....This email will confirm ur that u are on the CAP!

2. DD encashed means they are mostly eligible for the CAP...But not confirmed fully ---that u will be eligible....
