Thank you so much Brother... This clarifies me..Seniors like you are doing a very great job helping newbies like me.. Now the question is all about the time.. I have already sent my Bachelors transcripts to WES(will be delivered to WES by mid next week).. I spoke to Sikkim Manipal university today morning and requested for transcripts.. I am hoping that it will atleast take 1-2 weeks for me to be able to send them to WES.

Based on the current WES timelines, it is taking about a month for getting final report.. Please suggest if adding this masters degree to WES at this time for 1 extra point will be a good choice or not.. I am worried that It may delay my whole WES report beyond July..and reduces/voids my chances to get into the CAP for NOC2171.. Please suggest what would be the best path to go.. All this worry is because, I am not sure how many marks I can get in my IELTS exam.. Thanks again

Hi All

If I send the application file to address mentioned at Regular Mail address while using Courier ( DHL ) is there any issue ?

also I have not written NOC Code on Envelope.

Note :: Application file is received by MIKE already.

Please reply. Tensed.

That is not a bad idea at all. Although I like the intended humor, Mehul.
And the answer is pretty detailed at 1027, thanks to him. Great job buddy!!
But what if one has forgot (as in this guy's case) to put in a self declaration that his/ her company doesn't provide reference letter on company letter head, will it still be okay? However in the letter by manager the date of joining/ leaving, designation, # of hours worked, salary, roles & responsibilities etc. along with manager's email & contact # and manager's business card is included. Thanks!

Thanks dude :)
@Oscar that should be Ok. He is providing all related documents which are self understable.

Well.. Its not an issue at all. They are refering file based on time it has arrived. It is first come first serve system. So when they will open your file they will get all detail.

Best luck..

Most of those questions are the past 10 years, so start when you were 23. The age 18 thing comes into play only if you are less than 28 years old.

There are exceptions though. In the background declaration there are questions like have you ever had a serious medical condition, have you ever been refused a visa, etc. Those questions using the word EVER mean for your whole life unless otherwise stated.

Also, the PCCs are necessary from anywhere you have lived for 6 months or more since age 18 (16 in some jurisdictions), no matter how old you are.
Thank you very much friend. This is very clear.

Please Seniors, your advise please,

My application just reached CIO this morning, and I just realize that I failed to submit a copy of certificate of graduation, since my original diploma is still with Canadian embassy as part of my old application in 2005. I submitted instead my transcript along with my ECA, will this be a reason for refusal? Thanks in advance.

SUGGESTION NEEDED

Fellow members,

I am indian national based out of US. One friend in the forum correctly pointed out that I should have mentioned CPC-Ottawa as my Visa office. However, currently my application mentions New York.

Wanted some suggestion. I have the follow questions below

Do I have to file a new application?
Is this possible reason for rejection?
How do I correct the error?
Can I correct it at a later stage once my application is cap counted?

Please let me know. Seniors your valuable advice.

There are six/seven applicants make this error; globally, it could be hundred. The below is my hunch:
1. CIO themselves will rectify this error as seems like it is one of the frequent error in that region;
2. If not corrected by CIO, a request to VO can be done. Though, generally, they don't change VO, this will be exceptional case.

It is one of the requirement, have you mentioned that original is lying with them?? One of the case can be, since they have UCI they may refere to your old records. I think it needs senior advise also. Logically it is call of Visa Officer as you have already give ECA.. Best Luck and Pray to God..

IELTS Result expiring on july 10.. if file reaches there by june end, will they consider the result valid or they would return the file?
You have absolutely no problem provided your application gets to CIO before July 10 which is the expiration date of your IELTS.

Hello friends - Need a little advise onto how the points for work experience is likely to be calculated by the Immigration Officer.

My NOC is 2281. I have a total work experience of 7 years 10 months in the same NOC.

Current Employer - 1 year exp. Has provided letter of reference with job duties
Ex-Employer - 3 year exp. Has provided letter of reference with job duties
First Employer - 3 Year 10 Months exp. Has provided a letter with total experience and designation. Has not provided details pertaining to job duties in each designation due to company policy. Has specified this in an Email. I will be attaching a copy of this email with the other documents and I will outline the duties myself (no other options).

Question - Am I likely to receive points for Over 6 years work experience (15 points) or only over 4 years work experience (13 points) ? Anyone with similar experience ?

Judging by the way you articulate your point, I have no doubt you will get the required score on the IELTS exam. Go for it!

I am from NOC 2132 . My application reached on 13th.. just 1 day before you.
1. Since you did not receive application, you did not receive reference no. Why do you worry ? :) I learnt that you already sent an email to which you got a reply from CIC. You should have attached that email copy and mentioned that you did not receive a reference no. (But anyways, No worries and nothing will harm your application this time :) )

2. PER - positive eligibility review (final review done)
3. AOR - When CIC receives your application at the office in Sydney, NS a VO will check it for missing documents and signatures. Once your application is found to be eligible the AOR will be send to you via email ( if you have provided CIC with a valid email address in your application ) or mail. The AOR will also include your file number.

Thanks dear for your inputs.
