I have one question/concern. I have not submitted my roles and resposibilities reference letter on the company letterhead. But instead i have taken the reference letter from my senior manager on plane paper.. I have also attached all othet documents like payslips offer letter, promotion letter, service letter etc. I have also submitted my senior managers official contact information alongwith his official business card and his company id(both of which has his name and the company name) Is it absolutly mandatory for thereference letter too be on company letterhead ?

did u write any cover letter mentioning reason behind why u were not able to send Company letterhead??

You should be fine because a lot of applicants can't get on company letterhead. Just explain why you couldn't.

Hi,
If i give any affidavit for any reason, should i give original or photocopy of that ? I could not manage reference letter from my current company. Instead of that i did affidavit. Do i need to send original affidavit or copy of this ? Pls suggest.

Affidavit should be Original.

Try and get reference letter, this is important. If not provided on letterhead then get it on a white paper and get it acknowledged by your supervisor also include his visitor or I'd card Xeroxed and signed by him

This Forum is really helpful and informative especially for the new applicants that started looking for this FSWP from this year. I started working on my application some days back and hoping to send my application by 10-JUL.

I am from India and I am looking for some guidance from fellow Indians/Senior members regarding WES Recognized universities list..

Will WES accept Masters/Bachelors from Sikkim Manipal University,India as valid course and university? Has anyone already sent transcripts from Sikkim Manipal university and got the degree recognized by WES?

I have done my Masters(MBA-IT) from Sikkim Manipal University,India. This university is not showing up in the Approved universities list on WES website. I am asking because, I want to know if I even should spend time and money for these Sikkim Manipal university transcripts or just proceed by sending just my Bachelor degree(This univ is valid on the WES website) transcripts. Please help me. Many Thanks in advance.

You will be fine but include an affidavit. I did the same as seniors suggested. Please refer my post in page 1027 for complete details.

Sorry for not being very clear on my previous post. This thing is that I have already submitted my application to CIC on may 12th. Found out about this forum only recently. I had hired a consultancy firm (Y-axis) and did as they suggested.

Hi

If your calculated points are above 67 with Bachelor's degree alone, go ahead with getting Bachelor's degree assessed. If university for Master's degree is not listed in approved universities, WES would most probably NOT give it Canadian equivalency.

This is just my view. I am not familiar with Sikkim Manipal university. Take opinion of seniors as well. ;D

Hey, I found my WES report even did not mention my university {Sikkim} as recognized or not! My univ is top 50 in the world.
Are u choosing FSWP package? I applied before April 18th and upgrade it later.
