Good morning everyone........

My application was received by CIC office canada on 28th may 2014.

my query is that i have mentioned CC as payment method. and since my Credit card is new , its max limit is 50,000 rs. i applied for limit enhancement and bank is delaying the process.
will my application be rejected if CC is not able to get charged?
Dear
apart from your credit card limit, there is also international transaction limit which is normally much less than the card limit by default. kindly check that limit also with your bank, and extra credit in your card will not be sufficient. You have to increase the limit for international transaction also.

Hello Seniors,

I already have the experience letter on letter head, duly stamped from my old employer with all the required details (roles and responsibilities included for 10 years).

However, my boss in a new company is not authorized to sign anything written on the letterhead. And I am sure, the person who is authorized will not sign it either. Can I gather following documents instead?

1) Roles and responsibilities mentioned on an A4 size paper and duly signed by my boss with his contact details.
2) An explanation letter to CIC detailing the reason of above.
3) Apart from Roles and Responsibilities; everything else on a letter head duly signed by the responsible person.

Regards.

I had a good laugh on your saying "logging on to this forum sum tyms scares me nd i feel i thnk i left this thng or dat thng posted by members in the forum" although what you say is not a matter of laughter. Ideally one should have come here a few months before filing the application and interact with people who are already ahead of you to learn the process steps. Nevertheless it's okay. It is never late to learn. Just don't get disheartened by little things that people say. I have known this process for many years now, and there is a LOT of variation in practice of filling information on forms from one successful case to another. Feel free to put your questions of whatever you think might be a serious breach you might have made, and there are many experts who can share their views. But please don't get disheartened at all. The purpose of the forum is to help each other without having to pay a heavy fee to some consultant / lawyer. Although if you can pay that fee and seek professional help that too is a small drop in the ocean in terms of the investment made, just my take. Do whatever is best in one's interest.

Called them yesterday 9 AM Toronto time. They mentioned that my appln has been put on hold because package was received in Open condition. This is not possible as the package was properly sealed and stamped by my univ and the delivery courier guys confirmed that it was delivered in proper condition. In fact they mentioned that they notify the status to the sender especially if any courier is delivered as open. Also anything opened by customs usually has a customs tape on it, which of course was not the case since it was delivered in open condition.

I found that another user on this forum was also given the same reply for his appln being put on hold and he too is deeply frustrated.

Clealry, the mismanagement at WES is hell bent on spoiling the chances of some applicants and they seem least bothered killing hopes of people like us who were planning to apply in a high demand occupation.

Anyone has faced a similar problem of Envelopes claimed to be received as opened?

Hi Guys

I have 2 questions to ask for one of my friend who is filling the forms:

1) My friends father is deceased, so what should he write the marital status against his name in "Additional family information" form. Also he has written Widow as marital status against his mother's name, thats how it should be right ?

2) He also has different surnames in his passport and degree certificate. What proof should he attach for change of name, he is planning to attach copy of the affidavit he made for change of name and original newspaper sheet where the change if name was advertised, is this sufficient.

Also the sheet moderator, can you please remove the duplicate entry for me in row 468 in the spreadsheet.

Thanks

My dear friend Dharam,

I appreciate and respect your letting me off. ??? Of course the planet part was mere exaggeration from my end (please pardon me for that); I am sure you get that. After all we are humans and need some humor. See human and humor both have 'hum' at the start and they both surely go along. ;-)

NOTE - The above is NOT speculation, haha.

Your sense of humor is horrible dear..

Congrats in advance.
It is expected that your P.R processing will not be completed before August,2014.
This is based on the assumption that your application is positive and already transferred to your local visa office indicated on your generic form....
After the delivery of your baby, you will notify your local visa office (each visa office has links and email address to contact them...check and locate website of yours here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp).You will be requested to send an updated form of your generic form,IMM5406 and 5662(if applicable)....plus the forms that tied your baby to your spouse too.
You will need to pay the processing fee of the baby too(either CC or DD) and you will be expected to send your new born's passport photograph (6 copies -full names, date of birth and date of picture on 5 and one will be left blank) and your baby's international passport biodata page which shows all your baby's info and update of your POF for your new family size.
Your visa office will tell you all that you need when you contact them.
Safe delivery.
Cheers.

You must first try to approach the person who is authorized to. You are not leaving them immediately, so don't fear any backlash. At the most he might taunt you but might help in getting the document if god willing. It is not bad to apply for immigration, its a personal choice and your current employer has nothing to interfere with your choice, all they have to issue are necessary documents.
