what are others procedures so i can finish my immigration steps

Was hoping for NOC 3012 - registered nurse. I have a nurse license in my country and my letter of reference from employer also says "registered nurse".

But registered nurses in canada must have 16 years of education or 4 years post secondary education compared to mine which is only 14 years of education or 2 year post secondary education

Photocopy of Passport

If I'm not wrong, we need to give photocopy of those pages of passport which contain following information;

1. Passport number
2. date of issue & expiry
3. photo, name, date & place of birth
4. any amendment pages

Well I noticed somebody talking about giving also photocopy of the pages that contain VISA and Seal.

Can somebody suggest which one is preferable?

I've just created an entry on the spreadsheet. My NOC is 2174 and my application was received by GLEN on 5th June 2014 at 12:40 A.M. Goodluck to all of us!

Do I have a better chance to be included in the 1000 cap under 2174?

I don't think such a thing has ever happened. Somebody has given his gyaan, since the forum has become free flow for all your wild imaginations.

Either CIO accepts your Additional documents (with Original submission, if they are able to trace ).. WITHOUT any change in your submission date OR they will return your Additional documents stating could not find your records.

Pls remember: your Application package, Gen Appln form, photos cover etc.. are all date stamped "CIO Mailroom" with the receiving date. So, that date is locked for all further processing/ assessment purposes.

I would appreciate if members share their experience themselves.. rather than others quoting somebody without knowing full context. Certain Applicants situation may be unique and we can't generalise that CIC will do the same treatment for all.=

Actually there is no published guidelines about what to do when someone deviate from the instructions; in that case, we have no alternative but to find from other experiences who make similer sort of mistake.

I read somewhere in the FSW2013 forum that if someone submit missing document/s, his/her received date shifted to new date of receiving missing document, if CIC accepts it at all. Unfortuantely I could not locate the post :-[ .

WES credential assessment

My WES evaluation has just been completed. I saw the online version of the report and found they have reported the year of the degree wrongly. I communicated with them about this matter and they suggested me to wait for another 20 business days for a reply of my query. I will be receiving the report by tomorrow that contains the year mismatch.

Should I apply with the report or wait for another 20 business days for their reply to my concern??

Hello,

I am currently here in Canada and working on a work permit.
I applied in FSWP 2014 and got my CC charged already.

Just a question and clarification on the proof of funds.
I just showed CIC that I have $5,000 (combination of my and hubby's savings in bank)
It is okay right?

Because I read that there is no need for me to show the $14,000 POF (for the 2 of us) since I am already here in Canada with work permit authorized by CIC. I just want to clear my mind if my understanding is correct.

Same thing happened with me as well. I would suggest you to apply with the same report and mention a cover letter stating that WES had the wrong year in the Degree. Attach your certificates as proof. Also mention that you informed WES regarding this and they are working towards correcting the issue.

While most are busy waiting for their CC/DD charged, there are some like us who are just beginning the process.

I will be applying for 4011, University Professors for which educational qualification is PhD. Therefore, I reckon the work experience that is to be shown must have been gained "after" the PhD (or I am wrong ?)

The checklist talks about work experience to be mentioned for the last 10 years. While I do have more experience "before" PhD, but I think that won't qualify as a valid 4011 experience, or will it ?

Dear Seniors,

I am filling up the "Personal History Record" and the "Working Experience" table in the Schedule 3. I saw that if there is not enough space to fill in that table, we can always add an attachment sheet by ourselves. However, can I simply not filling up the given 5 empty rows in the original form but put a remark there "see attachment" and put all the details in the attachment sheet?

For the travel record, will they reject our application if we miss out 1 or 2 travel records?? Will they verify each travel record? How can they do that?

You said your application will be returned because of miss mach of job duties.
But you also said your application has not been returned yet.
How did you know in advance .did cic send you a mail.or did you call cic for your status?

I have questions for you.
In above case he knows that his application will be returned.
But if some one knows that he made a mistake as soon as the document reach cic ,and he is confident that his application will be returned then does he have to wait until the document is returned or can he reapply on same NOC instantly.

He can re-apply immediately(same NOC or different one) since he is sure his earlier application will be returned.
