brother "last year" is not this year there were 100s in our forum just sitting due to cap reached including me
and nobody knows how many were outside the forum ..on 5 to 7th there will be tsunami of applications
I am just being realistic.. just see the forum has 25 application on 7th may alomst 40% till 7th May ,

last year it was very new because of ECA and IELTS ,, this year no hurdle ,, I may sound harsh to others but reality will be
clear in just few days !!

I understand what you're saying but I disagree that it was easy for all those people rejected due to the cap to instantly reapply. Some may have had expired documents. And all the forms needed to be updated to the present time. And CIC announced the 2014 program very late.

Also your argument that this year the forum represented 25-30% but this year it will be fewer is backward. As you noted many members of this forum were returned due to cap this year, but many of them stuck around on the forum, so for those hot NOCs this forum may represent an even larger percentage than last year.

I have no doubt that hot NOCs will fill up quickly but I can't see them filling up in a week.

@ LHR-2147

If i remember correctly, u r 7th May candidate. From couple of rejection letters, it is pretty evident that review of application is completed 1-2 days before CC charging. Currently, 5&6th May applicant CC are being charged. Therefore, 7th May applications are being considered. So its the RIGHT time to call them. In any case, its useful to call them before processing so that they can tag it, once they have made the decision, its pretty useless to call.

So load your cell (at least 1 hr talk time, preferably more) and dial the #.

Best of Luck!!!

Thank you. I will try today. Does anyone have the best number to reach them? I know someone posted the number with the various options to select but I can't find it.

Should i mention my parents details on IMM0008DEPENU - Additional Dependants - Declaration Form..?

We dont have any child yet. Accordingly, i have mentioned only my wife's details on generic application form..

Do i need to mention my brother and sister in-law's name/other details somewhere..?

Your dependants are only your spouse and children.

You and your wife must both fill out the additional family information form. That form asks for brothers and sisters, so depending on how your in-laws are related they may need to be mentioned on your wife's form.

Do you know Charan's forum ID? Is it piscean5? cuz 1 6th May applicant "piscean5" from US earlier reported CC charged and amount was $1010 (instead of $1,100) most probably because of CAN $ to US $ conversion. His NOC is also 2171.

@ Ohai

To be eligible for this year's program your occupation has to be one of the 50. On January 1st 2015 Canada will switch to a new immigration system where you can express your interest in migrating to one of Canada's provinces and if your job and skills are in demand they might give you a provincial nomination for immigration.

So keep yourself informed of the new Expression of Interest system that they will introduce and start collecting documents and funds needed for immigration, so that should your occupation be in need for a province you can apply with minimum delay.

Hello, All.
I'm New to this forum.
Documents received in Nova Scotia Intake center on May 29th 2014
I'm live in US Currently and use My home country visa office in Moscow for processing application.
My NOC is 1123 Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations.
My questions to community are:
1. My Ielts Was about to expired On May 27th just right after I send the application.
Will my Application Packet may be returned back because of that? Or they will request an updated Ielts test?
2.If there anyone here also Applying through the Moscow visa Office, Please share your timelines?
Thank You!

I'm sorry to say I think your application will be returned because of expired IELTS.

Agreed, also if we think about the current status and to be of the same mind as our freind Kewl, lets take 10% as conservative approach to forum representation partially offset by the those filing under different NOC's under same field (217* & 111*)'s. do the calc at your end and it looks we still have some space to support a few applications in coming few days :)

God bless all our dreams :)
