Urgent help needed please. I am a 7th May applicant and I realised right after sending my application that WES made a mistake on my report. They evaluated my one year university certificate as a year of undergraduate. I didn't query it immediately because I only realised afterwards that the incomplete study is in admissible for minimum education points.

I queried with WES and after 4 weeks they finally corrected the report. The e mail says they have sent an electronic copy to CIC and the old report is no longer accessible to CIC. I'm still waiting for the hard copy.

Do you think CIC will reject me based on old hard copy report or first verify online with WES? What can I do to help? On last year's spreadsheet one applicant had cc charged but later rejected because of incomplete study. If they charge my CC that should give me time to get report copy to them. Any ideas?

When was the first time the CAP was updated the last year ?

NOBODY BUT THE CIC KNOWS WHEN THE CAPS WILL BE UPDATED

IF YOU HAVE OLD UCI YOU CAN STILL CHECK YOUR APP STATUS ON ECAS. IF IT SHOWS IN PROCESS THAT MEANS YOU HAVE MOVED TO NEXT LEVEL.

I had applied for Canadian Visitor Visa, at that time i was issued a UCI number. Should i include that number in the UCI part or just leave it blank?

What I think, CIC has a good relationship with WES and other evaluation company. They represent Canada and CIC shall try to upheld the image. So, an e-mail from WES should carry a great value. Note that WES report contains your address, DoB, and off course name. They might in advance give some entry on the basis of this information temporarily. So, when your application will be processed, those information will pop up.

From your part, I suggest you to call CIC directly and explain it. They will certainly be able to give you correct feedback.

Yes, your UCI number is for life. But even if you don't mention it, they are able to match it using your name and date of birth. So if you have one and you know it, write it down in the form.

It will be same UCI#. You should include that no. in UCI field

Its ok...the CIC officers will do the conversion....thats why they are PAID!
Just leave...they will do it themselves.

No need. The proof of funds may be in any currency (as long as it is translated). When you fill the form with your assets, liabilities and settlement funds, though, you MUST write them in Canadian Dollars.

My certified translator wrote in the bank statement translation a note saying "Currency rate USD 1.00 = BRL 2.22", which was the rate at the time of the translation, and was given in US Dollars, which I don't think will be of any help, but which doesn't affect me negatively either. So you could talk to your translator to include such a note, preferably in CAD, not USD - but this is not at all required in any way.

Your UCI is an 8 digit number on the top right corner before the bar code of the correspondence sent by CIC......

What you quoted up there appears to be your UCI.
