I think that's fine as long as the birth certificate has the name of your father and mother. ..it would be ideal I think if you can obtain the proper birth certificate issued by the relevant authority inside Lebanon. ..but if that is not possible then I'm sure the one you have is OK. ..Please translate if not in English or French

I was confused because i saw some posts saying that they had peoblems with birth certifcates

I highly suspect that 2174 /3 or 1112 will left by even 2 weeks before
.. CIC updates very late and the update date is not same as the application receiving date

"CIC update is only an estimation" so if there is a " - " infront of any occupation in the update page ..it doesnt mean that
nothing is filled
or even when they update ,,nobody knows their counting is of which date , it means if they suppose update on 4th June , it doesnt mean that
application of 4th june are being accepted , "it always say its an estimation "

brother "last year" is not this year there were 100s in our forum just sitting due to cap reached including me
and nobody knows how many were outside the forum ..on 5 to 7th there will be tsunami of applications
I am just being realistic.. just see the forum has 25 application on 7th may alomst 40% till 7th May ,

last year it was very new because of ECA and IELTS ,, this year no hurdle ,, I may sound harsh to others but reality will be
clear in just few days !!

Information systems analysts and consultants (2171)
Database analysts and data administrators (2172)
Software engineers and designers (2173)
Computer programmers and interactive media developers (2174)

Well, all of the NOC has difference i know.. Some of have very less some of have more ...
But I have seen personally --several applicants whom were on perfect matches on 2173/2172 (a little job duties on 2174) were successfully applied under 2174 on FSW13...

Similar situation was also happened on 1112..And this yr there is several financial NOC exist like IT NOCs..

So hottest NOC 2174/1112 will not be covered within first 4 weeks atleast---Thats what is my prediction....

Im lebanese but i was born in another country and i was registered at the lebanese consulate there,now that im applying for fswp,do i need the birth certificate from my country of birth,or i can have it through the lebanese authorities because im already registered and i have lebanese passport.
NB: its mentioned on the one extracted from lebanese authorities that it is based on the birth certificate no xxx from my country of birth

It is not at all cic grab applications according the noc

This what they follow

1) when the application is received it is date and time stamped and that is locked.
2) then it goes as per the completeness chq .Once it is compile and is positive , the fee payment form goes to the fee department and according to the cc or dd the fee is encashed .
3) once the positive confirmation from the fee department the application goes to the case office who is assigned the said application .
4) then the eligibility review is carried out and that depends how much case the case office is already having in que and once the positive review is done you get the PER through mail or post , if not then the application is not returned only fee is refunded


NOTE --- YOU WIL ONLY GET YOUR APPLICATION BACK WHEN IT IS IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING COMPLETENESS CHQ

IF UR FEE IS ENCASHED THAT MEANS UR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE BUT NOT ELIGIBLE
FOR ELIGIBILITY THE CASE OFFICE HAS TO DECIDE .

Then u can submit ur current country's BC along with this u can submit ur 10th yr mark sheet where ur DOB+parents name exists (or parents affidavit)....Just to avoid the confusion....

Not sure what's stopping us to spread positive mood in the forum. Think about those applicants who are eagerly waiting for IELTS result, for WES to dispatch their ECA, or for that last minute confusion on how to fill that filed in generic form etc. etc..

Among all these excitement, effort and the dream of Canadian life, I think such statements are cruel - if nothing else.

CIC would do whatever it does, whenever it does...but why be negative, why discourage others. Let this forum be for the purpose it is meant for - help others...

you are absolutely correct brother... if we can't say any positive, its better for us to keep quiet and put all our predictions in ourselves...

CIC first update will show high applications they received , becoz huge applicant's ( who were ready with ECA and IELTS ) waiting to send the application by first week of MAY . after that it will slow coz a lot of applicant's was not expecting that this year CIC will open FSWP again and most of them are waiting for EOI systems on 2015 January . so no ECA no IELTS . I think this year any hot NOC also get 1/2 month time for CAP reached ( 1000 ) . No seat for IELTS ( GT ) June and July all over the world . Just my prediction
