Hey guys

I m all set with all docs:

1. Original forms - signed n dated
2. Supporting docs - notarised (I know it's not needed but wanted to be extra careful. )
3. Eca and ielts - original
4. PCC acknowledgement letter.

Can anyone give last min pointers for avoiding any silly mistakes or things I need to go thru. Any and every suggestion is welcome.

I m giving credit card info not bank draft. And will be sending courier thru fedex, as my previous experience with fedex was really good.

You can get everything checked by your friend or someone in family to be double sure....as a thumb rule i use..if you are single and not using any consultant total number forms should be 7, if married & kids below 18 then 9 forms ...Good Luck!

on ecas website status clarification suggests that in process means that your eligibility is clear.... when your cc charged....

why not?

Because if we send a notarized true copy it authenticate the documents. After all we are doing too much for application then this one is simple and easily doable formality so why can't we do that.

1. The FSW is for all provinces but qubec, so u might have to explain why you want to obtain education in Quebec but then settle in other part of Canada. In general, you can first apply for Study permit and then for FSW. However, if u first apply for FSW and then study permit, you will have tough time convincing the student visa interviewer (if it happens) that you will come back after completing your studies.

2. If you guys are married, then apply as married. If you guys are living together in common union, then you have the option of applying as single or couple (under common law but you will have to fulfill additional requirements of common law union)

Can anyone help? So I got into a school to study(quebec), at the same time the FSW program reopened. The plan was i would go to school and my spouse would apply for the open work permit. Now that the new FSW is open both our occupations are on the list. Do I still apply for the study permit? Do we apply for the FSW as common law? which is better? Can we apply for both?

this might be my longest and last query before filing my app. for NOC 2241. my WES report is on the way and it will reach to me on 10th june +vly. i have some final doubts plz frnds help me.
1 In generic form personnel details Q no. 2 "name change/Previous name is asked. On my all docs such as BC, Work Exp, education POF my name is XXXX Singh while on my Passport it is XXXXX Singh 'Surname'. should i fill this question as yes or no. if yes then what to write in Family name. If No is there any problem regarding surname missing on other docs. i have some other docs such as POF in which my surname is added. plz help regarding this.

2. i have done AMIE from IE India and it takes 9 years to complete as it is part time course. but WES has Assessed it as Equivalent to Canadian Bachelors (4 years). how should i fill Background Dec form Education Table for this course. also i have full time work experience during this duration. is there chance that cic will object on this situation.

3 (Most Important): My job duties are as under:
• Installation, maintenance and repair of Electronic exchanges including electronic exchange hardware, power plant and associated Main Distribution Frame for installation of subscriber cables.
• Installation, maintenance and repair of Power Plant, Battery, all types of ringers, electrical installations etc.
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly tests on local and junction equipment, and localization and repair of faults in all types of exchanges.
• Examine drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed.
• Installation of Broadband equipment including Modems, spliter, and their maintenance and repair at subscriber premises.
• Configure operating systems and install software for access to the Internet
• Inspect and test operation of telecommunications equipment
• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment.
• Traffic measurements, preparation of fault statistics, fault analysis and maintenance of records, log-books, fault register.
• System backup and expansion of hardware, testing, maintenance and measurements time to time for checking exchange performance

does these match with NOC 2241. should i go with this reference letter duties. plz spend some time and suggest as this is the only pending major doc. rest all are almost ready and i m set to apply as soon as my WES report arrives.

Set with all docs, applying under 2132. Question about birth certificate both me and my wife have the birth certificate in native language (non English), secondary school certificate suffice or do I need to get it translated from a authorized translator and If I have to then any known people..?
