Does CIC update the CAS status if the application is sent back.

No. They just sent the package back through snail mail. Last year I got it back after 6 month.

Thanks Obaied

But I am not sure about filling the name in native language, is it compulsory to provide one? I am from India and my native language is Hindi, do I need to fill the name in Hindi in the form at mentioned place?
Seniors and other people from India, did you guys submit the application by filling the names in Hindi as well?

Looking for a quick response as I am about to courier the application.

Thanks

Yes, you should. After printing, write it with black pen in the respective boxes just below the names in English.

Thanks dear. I got it. You can use the same TNT tracking number as the reference number for Purolator.com. It is showing the same time and date for "Package Picked Up". expected delivery time is 3 June. Delivery location is Sydney, NS, CA. Everything is safe now. :)

quck question...Will there be any issue if Blue pen is used instead of black?

Thanks for the information . I am planing to attach a affidavit stating this mistake ..will that work ??

A cover letter to explain it was a mistake is enough.

Thanks a lot Century for sharing these.

One other thing, in my Japanese Birth Certificate my Full Name is in this order --> SURNAME FIRSTNAME FATHERSNAME(middlename as we call it)

I also have a English version of this that was issued to us by the Indian Embassy based in Tokyo back then, which I'm thinking to send along. And in that document names(mine and my parents) are in this order --> FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME(husbandname in case of my mum) SURNAME

Should not be serious problem, should it?

What order should I follow in the English translation I'l be getting done?

It should be translated as it is.

If there are differences in naming order between passport and your birth certificate, just give a cover letter describing the differences.

Yes...that's perfect.
I wanted to suggest it but I felt you were in a hurry.
Please do it if you can afford it within the time limit.
Cheers.
