Completely agree with you, last year CIC had accepted 600 applications in total for computer engineers(300 for s/w + 300 for n/w engineers). but for this year there are 5 different categories for computer engineers and network engineers, so 5000 candidates can successfully apply under various categories and I think the quota will definitely last longer.

If you can't help others then at least don't make highly irresponsible comments.

2014 FSW aspirants, Maple leaf country is ready to welcome you with open heart, rush your applications without negative thinking.

Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you will land amongst the stars.

+1 brother...

I already tried to notify sthat, this yr applicants have more chances to apply since every HOT NOCs have alternate NOC/options...So none of the NOCs will be closed within 1.5 months....

So scaring comments/opinions are su
ggested to avoid....:)

>:(Hello mates. I applied last year in 2013 for FSW for 2174. But unfortunately the cap got full and they sent me back my application asking for an arranged employment. Now I am in Canada on spousal open work permit. My application was delivered to CIO on 9th May 2014. I have not got any reply from CIC yet, neither my draft have been encashed. Hope some one can help me out in this case.

If your application arrived 9th May it is too early for your DD to be cashed or to receive any reply from CIC. You can expect it to take up to another 3 weeks for your DD to be cashed and up to 8-10 weeks from the receipt of application to receive any e-mail from CIC.

Thank you for the quick response.
Excerpt of the PCC
"......which would render him or her ineligible for grant of travel facilities including visa for Commonwealth of Australia"

Regards,
Sagar

If it mentions Australia get a new one for Canada. Just to be safe. Apply now and submit PCC later when requested by local VO.

In Which form have they asked for rejection of visa from any other country ?

CAD 550 each of the principal applicant, family member aged over 22 and married family members under age of 22.
Additional CAD 150 for each of the unmarried family members under 22. (Refer IMM 5620E)

So for appln with primary applicant only, it'll be charged with CAD 550. For a family with husband, wife and a child, the fee would be ( 550 X 2)+150= CAD 1250

Thanks a lot for this clarification. :)

Dear All,

I am planning to apply under the FSW category for Canadian immigration. I have already given my IELTS academic module and achieved scores of S-7, L-7, R-8, W-7. However, I read that one needs to take General training for the FSW program. Also, as i believe that Academic is more difficult than general training, therefore kindly advise if my academic training scores would be accepted for the FSW program.

Further, I am a CA from India and have a BCOM degree from Mumbai University. Therefore, kindly confirm if I can get my education assessment done from WES?

Thank you for your help.

General module IELTS is the ONLY one considered right for FSWP...academic is NOT acceptable

Hi,

For Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) & Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669), both primary applicant and spouse should fill separate forms while submitting?

Thanks
Arun
