hmm Yes even I think "Print" means write clearly by hand so that its readeable.. but again you anyways have to sign the form so even if you type, should be okay;

Hi brother PRINT means Write with pen and Type means using computer or any other device. I don't think this is a serious issue but this is fact.

Interesting discussion. To me:
Print = writing with computer
Type: writing with type-writer
Ink:Ink-jet/ribbon

:) :)

Guys basis your experience which has the probability of hitting the CAP first (2171 or 2173)?? The job roles fit in both but more aligned towards 2173 and that is what I want to go with although my job title goes with 2171

if your roles and responsibilities match with 2171 then go for it. typically 2171 is for people who are doing more customer facing role and less of Design ,code and test. Also people who are product consultants like SAP,Peoplesoft,informatica,terradata etc are under 2171 irrespective of their experience.

2171 is opened this year only, so I think many people might not have prepared their application in advance.
But apply as per your duties and not the job title.
And apply FAST.

Good then,, your IELTS is valid :)

Just copy of FD's, and if possible get a letter from Bank Manager.. mentioning the Total amount of all your FD's (it will be in Rs.) and it is unencumbered.

Your chances are more with 2171, so if you think your job duties are matching, please go for that.

The CIC Cap is only updated for completed application and payment is made.
Credit cards are charged this week, so expect it to be updated in next few days.

As soon as they start sending the PER mails (to fortunate ones), they will update the cap page.

So if early birds get their PER mail by mid-next week... then expect first Cap update by end of next week or early the following week !

I suppose CIO wil be processing Applications much faster this year as the FSW 2014 target is raised {25000 Application in 8 mos.(May-Dec) v/s 5000 Application in 12 mos. FSW 2013}
