Hi,

In my ECA report my date of birth has come wrong. All other information in the report are perfect.

I have fallen in NOC 2174 which is very demanding NOC and reaches CAP really fast. For this, i did not have enough time to get corrected the birth date and having a new ECA report since there might be chances to miss the CAP if i am late. I have sent my application with that ECA report and attached an affidavit for this mistake.

So is there any chance of creating any issue for this ?

I don't think so there will be any issue on this.

Hello All,

I have query regarding the experience or recommendation letter from previous company ,i worked.
In my case, i did job in total 5 companies including latest one in last 7 years. In current company I m working for last 3 yrs in abroad.

The experience certificates I have from my previous companies mentioning only the period and position I had in that company. There is nothing mentioned about salary and JD etc .

Now my question should I need the experience/recommendation letter from my previous employers mentioning below points like salary, full time/part time employee, Job description etc.

Or can I send the experience letter which I have already from previous company
Please note that from my current company I can manage in required format mentioning all necessary points.


Please suggest.

If you want to claim points against your whole 7 years work experience, than detail job description is required for you earlier companies. Else just provide the experience letter of previous company.

Hi,

As per generic application form, we need to choose type of relationship. I am applying with my wife and a five year baby...what type of relationship should I choose in this concern? On the same form, I am a bit confused about contact information. Can I include post box no. of my office in question no. 1 and write my residential address in question no. 2? Similarly, in question no. 6, I am writing my e-mail is it fine as I am applying on my own?
Lastly, Should I add my spouse and a baby and write their details too by choosing ''Add Dependent'' column and what about my child's education detail as he has just begun grade 1 here in my country?

Type of relationship applies to you only if you were previously married or in a common law relationship (Only applicable if you checked yes in Q-14 of Generic application form.

PO Box doesn't apply to residential address. Mailing address should be the one at which you want to receive mail from CIC. (in case your application is not successful, CIC will mail all documents back at this address).

Write your email. CIC will contact you on this email regarding status of your application (PER, etc.)

You must add your spouse and your child as your dependents.

For your child, Highest level of education - 'NONE', Years of education in total - 0 and write N/A in occupation details.

If i take it from my manage/country manager of previous company in company's pad, will it be OK?

Basically two of my previous companies are based on India ,only branch office is in Bangladesh and there is no HR team.It will be very difficult for me to collect experience letter mentioning job description from HR (headquarter in India) .

I am from NOC 2132 too...
I would advice you to go through the website of what is required yourself, instead of just relying on consultants who have half knowledge and push them to send your application. Make one final check for accuracy.
Here time is more important than accuracy. Small mistakes have been ignored in the past by VO, but you can't cheat time..

Hi Asif,

Need some clarification with respect to NOC job duties mentioned on CIC website.

It says "The following is a summary of main duties for some occupations in this unit group"

Below that, it says about the job summary for few titles

for e.g. Financial planners, Financial examiners, Financial Underwriters, Mortgage brokers

While preparing job reference letter, I have mentioned full job duties(not summary) of one title "Financial examiner" only and not for other job duties.

Guidelines says your occupation should match eligible NOC.

Let me know , whether I have taken appropriate job reference letter or need to change.

I am yet to apply for PCC in India

As we are moving to US this month end .will my application processing will get delayed for want of PCC in the later stage. As i could see someof the applicants struggling to get PCC from abroad.

Seniors pl suggest with out PCC is it ok to apply or to get PCC now it self even it takes one more week additional??

Hi, please help me with some more queries :
As i applied last year but received my file back due to Cap filled, so wants to know:

1) My ECA from WES which i got on 15 May 2013, is it still valid and can i sent same paper/report again or need additional copy ?
2) My IELTS report/paper is clean and there is no pin hole in it, can i use same one ?
3) Police verification report is required in this stage while sending all docs or at later stage when we get our UCI no. or local VO ask ?
4) Is it ok if i show around 8-9 lk (14k CAD) in my ICICI account and sent statement in fill, or is it neccesray to show it in last 6 months statement and should i need to maintain those 14k CAD for whole year in my account ?

Yes there are different code for it, i applied last year under 2147 -- this year i will apply for 2281 - computer network technician, as my job duties match for 2281.
you also check job duties for same

PCC can be provided later. If you belong to hot NOC then forget about sending PCC now, try to send your Application ASAP without PCC.

In fact, it is best to collect the experience letter from the supervisor. Your manager/country manager will serve the purpose.
