I got this email and can somebody here help me interpret...

We have some urgent and exciting news for you!

Further to your previous interest in working and living in Canada, we would like to advise you that as of the 1st of May 2014, the Canadian government announced that approved applicants can now come to work and live in Canada under one of the following programs:

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP),
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and
Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

In addition, the government has announced that 38,000 applicants will be accepted in these 3 programs under 50 eligible occupations BEFORE January 2015. But, you need to hurry. Spaces fill up quickly and applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The remoteness is why it is where it is. The government is creating employment in places where people live, for some unknown reason, where nothing else is happening.

If this is the case then it is really good. This is good for overall Canadian economy, people governing irrespective of which part of country they are living.
I just heard this last time.....when recently there was blackout due to snow storm or some nature disaster, the government provided generators to every single home.

The dates mentioned are Indian std time IST ....sorry for the confusion. Only 27th May was mentioned in wes' s mail...so probably will be 28th May IST

You got an email today ? I thought they don't work on the weekends. Its a bit annoying to see my status still as 'Waiting for required documents' when I have a Proof Of Delivery from DHL confirming that the documents were received and signed for more yesterday morning 10:30 am Toronto time.

DD is Recommended but I disagree that with DD you will end paying a bit higher... infact DD charges is lower.

The Credit Card co/bank typically charges 3.5% + taxes as a Mark up for foreign currency transactions (say, 3.5% of 550 = approx. 20CAD$)... whereas the Bank's commission for issuing DD (say, 550 CAD$) is much lesser than 20CAD$ ..atleast in Indian banks

The benefit of CC is instant notification of Application being Processed at CIO. DD holders have to wait till they receive PER mail, confirmation of DD payment from bank gets delayed as reconciliation at home branch with Canada takes lot of time.. upto 1 month... so DD will ensure peace of mind but butterflies in stomach whether Application is processed or not ;D

I request everyone to please stop posting such comments in the form, it triggers panic button among applicants.
Many applicants are getting a great help from this form which is helping them fill their application. Comments like this will make them panic.

It's hard work and aspiration to migrate to Canada made all the ones in this form join.

Just chill.....just apply complete application correctly...sit back and relax 8)

Absolutely agree with u....pls guys we are all here for one reason...to migrate to canada. Let's help each other for dat and not make each other panic without any concrete evidence. If the caps are filling let cic inform us on thr website...lets not assume things and get worried. We already have lots to worry.

AGREE! You guys know what ..what will help is to share your info in our 2014 spreadsheet so that it is getting more and more accurate and we can use it for prediction!

In Express Entry.. chances will be brighter for a brighter Applicant and less brighter for other Applicants.

Its is like Assessing your Application based on merits as opposed to current system which is 'first-come-first-serve'.. so long you have pass points... 67 or 99 all are at par

Also I think the application fee would be more and time of visa processing would be lesser and no caps.

they will take 3-4 days after receiving documents to start on your application. in my case my doc reached on 29th april but i got mail and status change on 2nd May.
