Hi All,

I have completed BTech Civil Engineering. I have 8 yrs of experience as Software Engineer. Am I eligible to apply for 2173 Software engineers and designers. ?

As per the Employment requirements,

A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering or mathematics
or
Completion of a college program in computer science is usually required.

Can anyone reply that any bachelor's degree is sufficient or relevant education is required to apply ?

And if ur NID is on English then it not required brother...

that's what i did.. only includes the ECA, copy of university transcript, diploma and graduation certificate

WES for highest degree
But you need to include copies of all educational documents from primary to highest qualifications since CIC requires these documents for Background check(if required), and also they serve as proof for the Economic Class declaration form in which you have mentioned your primary, secondary, Bachelors, Masters education and details.

Hi,


I was looking to take up IELTS test I am from new delhi.

But recently on searching came to know that IELTS is held on 48 dates per year on a center and the next date falls in end of june almost

19 Jun 2014 New Delhi
21 Jun 2014 New Delhi
28 Jun 2014 New Delhi
10 Jul 2014 New Delhi
12 Jul 2014 New Delhi
19 Jul 2014 New Delhi

Also I am not sure whether to go for academic of GT

but as 19th June is quiet far and it takes 13 days to know the result. Guess by then the caps will be filled especially the 2174(programmers and designers)

Try to book IELTS in another city in India like kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore etc..
Your NOC is one of the Hot ones. It can fill quite fast.
So, hurry up man, if you really serious about it.

F**K those NOC descriptions for education qualifications, If CIC VOs had been going strictly by NOC education descriptions, then tens of thousands of people would not have got P.Rs in the past decade.
Keep your job description and reference letters strong.
That's it.
