I guess you should talk with your university controller/registrar. WES sent a mail to your university for verification but your university responsible probably overlooked it.

Thats a problem with university and WES both..people suffers.

I guess I'm the latest one in this forum.
My application was received at CIO on 30th April, 2014.
My CC charged 14th May, yesterday, and waiting for the PER.
Wish me all the best for the next.


Just saw that 30 th April 2013 fsw applicant got CC charged on 14 the.. So brace yourselves guys..

If your file is recieved on 30 april then you are not eligible for 2014 new list because it starts from 1st may,2014.

My husband is on a Business Permit here in South Africa. His Business permit expired last year. He has filed in for a renewal, but it is a very long process to get it renewed.

How do I go about this?

If I were you, I will send a clarification letter and I will attach all documents which may support this case such as old permits, renewal documents/ receipt. Then, I will update them once get the new permit

--> Its better to use the name mentioned in passport in all forms...your official name i.e Given name ,Middle Name and Surname must be same as in passpot...if in your experience letter have some surname then for a safest side you must need to click the column for "have u been called by any other name" in generic form..

REGARDING WES APPLICATION :

I am a graduate of NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, DURGAPUR , INDIA.
The Transcripts provided by my institute are signed by 'PROF-IN-CHARGE (ACADEMIC)' as there is no post called "CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION" as per the officials.
Now my question,
1) will WES ACCEPT THIS TRANSCRIPT ??
2) Do I need to attest the DEGREE CERTIFICATE by INSTITUTE OFFICIALS or ONLY PHOTOCOPY WILL DO??
3) So the docs need to be sent : PHOTOCOPY OF DEGREE CERTI + TRANSCRIPT + WES TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM ??
4) DO THE INSTITUTE SEND THIS DOCUMENTS THEMSELVES or I JUST COLLECT THEM in SEALED ENVELOPE and SEND MYSELF???

my name is tina singh sandhu

where tina singh is my first & middle name , sandhu is my surname

all my id's(including passport, birth certificate, etc) & certificates(10th,12th, degrees) have tina singh in given name but surname is blank "means sandhu is not mentioned in surname"
but in my work exp letters... my complete name tina singh sandhu is mentioned or some where tina sandhu is mentioned...

would it be a problem... Do i need to click the column for "have u been called by any other name" in generic form..
or its fine.

Don't worry , alias name can't become reason for application rejection, just keep in mind to fill proper alias wherever asked in forms...+ one affidavit for different names same person ...will help case officer to understand that Tina Sandhu / Tina singh is same person...

Have you or husband, worked previously in your country of nationality? Yes. We would prefer to file in South Africa, as the processing times are faster in South Africa.
Have you or your husband have IELTS and WES reports? We both have IELTS. I have ordered for my WES report.

Please read carefully on What "Faithful100" has written.

Without present local legal permit, How can fill the Start and End date of current country of residence?
Without this the "Validate" will not be successful. Without validation CIC will not accept generic IMM008 form.
Thats the end of Story.

If the old permit dates are entered(which expired last year) and validation is done, Be in VO place and think,
Would you ever accept them being more than six months old?
Now this is applicable to people who are away from the country of nationality atleast for six months/year.
If her husband get Business Permit after 3 months from now, How can VO be informed on this? If her husband is not working currently(presumably), How can it be proved latter with addendum documentation? It's complicated right?

So, my advice to you, Please ask basic probing questions, get the information and advice.
I already sense that "faithful100" is a little worried, with repetition of messages(Presumably)
So, Please Do not advise in a Jiffy, without knowing the relevant information.

Yes.
This is what you will do......
Include both the photocopies of the old and new passports in your application package not forgetting the original copy of the IELTS result.
IMPORTANT>..Write a cover letter to explain the whole situation.Your cover letter will/may state that you wrote your IELTS exam when the former passport was still valid and that you just renew it after expiry which is why you include the new international passport.
Don't forget that you will fill the passport number of the new/renewed passport in your generic form....which is why you need to explain what made you do it.
This is my personal experience and i went through without any problem.

Please sign and date the cover letter.
