• Implementation of power saving initiatives by implementing Night Watchman software on 32, 000 desktops within the Bank.

If your eligibility review is successful, CIO will send you a confirmation of positive final eligiblity review. This will be by email if you specified an email on your application, otherwise they will send a letter by regular post. They will then transfer your file to the CHC/VO (Canadian High Commission/Visa Office) for further processing.

Please see the “PER” page of this blog for the text of the PER and also the CIC email address from which it will arrive, so you can add this into your contacts list on your email.

Once the file gets to the visa office (which usually takes 2 to 4 weeks) your ECAS status will read “Received by visa office”.

I really don't want you to take the wrong decision over this so you have to think carefully. Let me put it in perspective; imagine you are the CIC officer and you see an application package where the proof of funds indicated by the applicant is CAD 2,000. Note, CAD 2,000 is DIFFERENT from CAD 20,000. Now as the CIC Officer, you see another application package where the proof of fund is CAD 20,000 and is adequate for that applicant's processing. Which applicant would you pass on to the next stage and which would you return? Bear in mind also that there are THOUSANDS of other applicants who would have indicated the correct figure as their proof of funds. Would you 'overlook' the error in the application or would you go with the applications that have no errors? I think any reasonable person would work with the applications that have no errors rather than the application that has an error. You can choose to call the courier company to return the application to you or to your friend in Canada or you can choose to let it proceed with the error to CIC. Best of luck in your choice.

It means Positive Eligibility Review.. Means you have satisfied the initial requirements set by CIC

PER - Positive eligiblity review, this comes by email when your your application has scaled the furst hurdle and will proceed for further processing.

2K & 20K issue. If this is the only issue. They may ask u d detail. It all depend on officer.
If ur conscience tells u this may b issue call back. Matter of 10days to lodge again

Guys I hav just sent my docs to WES. The status on wes website says docs received review in process as on 14th May 2014. Can anyone tell me by when shud I expect my ECA report. I hav ordered international courier.

I also did my PCC today 15th May ...PCC is also under process. How long does dat take to receive certificate ? I will in mumbai. Any estimates ?
